Locking/Deleting topics

well i just been thinking...usally i got no ideas but now i do! The maker of a topic should be able to delete it or lock it if he/she wishes to. Wouldn't that make sense

    well thats a good idea, in other forums the delete featue is on or in most of them, but ppl can ask to close the topic to a mod
