Nice guess, but I think it's because my avatar is fuxxor'd.

I deleted my avatar and then couldn't upload a new one. I kept getting a "not a JPG or GIF" error. and Now I can't do a new one because my account settings page is messed up at the avatar upload section!! 

Looks like there may be a null pointer in the database because of my upload problem or was it from the avatar deletion?
