question.. how do I know if I have the updated graphics ? can I read that in-game or what? ^^
I dont know if this was already asked... Im a tired player of World Of Warcraft since i've been 60 for a while and cant find not too much a do, and roleplay even in roleplay servers is kinda few (not to say completely 0) and im searching new p2p mmorpg but im searching one that i can enjoy some rp, i mostly dont enjoy PVP (at least in the way it is/was in WoW. I started my WoW life in a full PVP server and that was the hell, blizzard "solved it" by adding an honor point system that made the full pvp even more hellish (or maybe im a very bad pvper and cause that i cant enjoy it dont know) but im searching some serious pve/rp game and im willing to know if DaoC can be my choice....
I may be mistaken, but it seems that a new edition of the game is now available, containing all seven of the expansion packs, and ends up coming out less costly than the Epic Edition + the Labyrinth of the Minotaur expansion.
You are correct about that. The 5th aniversary edition is the cheapest way to go to update everything and is available at most stores (thanks to EA owning them).
El no longer comes here so he cannot update things.
Go to any bank and get a debit card. Put the minimum amount in that the bank requires at that least. Problem solved. Hey, in todays world there is no reason for a person to at least not have a debit card.
I would like to know what expansions are included in the 14 days trial and can we play more than one time (not on the same character of course, but multiple 14 days trials, starting from nothing each time) ? Thanks a lot.
Thank you very much for that helpful posting of information sources.
I do not mind at all the DAoC has sufficient depth you need to ascend a decent learning curve over time. I always liked that about EverQuest but after six years in the original Norrath I have pretty much seen and done it all there including the end game raiding, etc.
I am now downloading the trial and hope to be making my first character, probably badly, in a hour or so.
I was aware of Alla being an EQ guy but the other sources I'm sure will be helpful to the uninitiated so thank you again.
Hmm, updated graphics? This is the only game where I played the trial for all of 2 minutes and went... WTF is this evil Frogger with skeletons? Over a year ago I tried it, and was amazed at how terrible the graphics were and annoyed that it looked nothing like the screenshots I had seen. If the graphics are updated, I may give it a whirl.

I don't know what you saw a year ago but the free trial I am playing now looks excellent. The link I got from the DAoC site gave me an install up to Shrouded Isles. I then went back to the DAoC site and got the free TOA and Catacombs expansions, installed them and began playing. I am impressed by how great the world looks myself, not to mention how fun my first play experiences have been.

On the Europe trial of DAoC, you don't even need a credit card.. a link to the game etc is sent straight to your email account.
When you create an account you just say "try for free", and put use the drop down "none" when it comes to subs.

How do I cancel the subscription!
what he said.........
Login to the game, but do not select any character. Go to edit billing. There will be an option to cancel.
