if i read the opnions about the game changes on various Boards i come to the conclusion that EQ2 seems to be a dieing game which the developers have ruined due to their "nerfs, balance changes, Solo or not Solo Content."

and last but not least it seems they managed to take the last bit of Athmospehere out of the game.

i was playing WoW for a while now after i left EQ2, before i go back to a game that i left i tend to read different boards to be secure if its the right decision.

For me it looks as if SOE does some "Come Back We Have Changed It!!" actions to avoid further loss of players.

i remember i logged into the game 2 month ago after i received an email that i could play 7 days for free. i logged in watched an even Level Monk (32) easy killing a green Group MOB. I tried the same as Summoner and sent my Pet, needeless to say my Pet died in a few seconds and the MOB went after me.

I immediately deleted the game from my HDD. No Way i play such un ubalanced game. The whole Group MOB stuff is horrible and should not be in a game. I accept Boss mobs but not Solo/Group mobs.

The worst Idea ever in a MMORPG.

Sorry SOE the game box will remain in my cellar.

If you listened to all the idiots on gaming forums you would never play ANY MMORPG. Forums are 80% a place where people come to bitch, if you have any experience on forums you would know this general rule.

Sorry that you're going to miss just how amazing EQ2 is right now. PVP in 8 days too. But cya lol

My 14 (or is she 15 now?) summoner (edit: Conjurer, sorry ) routinely solos groups of mobs from blue con to yellow con (one higher level). Pay attention to their con - is it down arrow, no arrows, or heroic?

Anyway, sounds to me like you're basing your opinion on the game from a couple of months ago, and that you're also just wanting to bitch about the game a little. We all get that way, but you should probably read about the updates over the past few months. Or perhaps give the trial a go.

I'm not a fan of the game, but I see no reason to not give it a fair shake.

Hmm wierd that you can't solo as a summoner. I watched a summoner go afk at a spawn hotspot all day(well for at least 12hours) and her pet kept protecting her and pulling aggro everytime they spawned and she never died. I don't know if she parked there on purpose or just didn't know that it was a span point. But anyways as the other poster said you need to check the con for up or down arrows or if its heroic. I've soloed most classes to 30 easily. Except the enchanter line. Never played them.

Humm. Yeah I have to agree with this my Summoner was only 18 but never once died. Of course the poster may be talking Heroics and a low level summoner would have a very hard time doing a heroic.

Obviously you havent played WoW that much Either, because there are plenty of grouped MOBs in that game as well, you just cant see it as easily

Besides, grouped MOBs make sence, do you think if you wer attaking a camp of Gnolls they would come at you one at a time???
