Question about update 19 regarding the betrayal quest

I'm planning on playing EQ2 with the release of PVP servers but I have a question that I'd love answered since it will have a large bearing on my class choice. 

Since live update #19:

Character Creation
- New characters now choose a profession at character creation.
- Your alignment (good or evil) determines which class choices are shown.
- As you progress through character creation, your current choices (gender, race, class) are shown.
- Characters begin with several key pieces of class-specific armor that are visible in character creation.
- There are new portraits for every race and gender that you will see when selecting your race.

My question is:  Suppose I start as a Dark Elf Necromancer and then do the betrayal quest to join Qeynos later on.  Will I continue to be a necro on the good side or will I change to a conjurer?  Also, what level can you do the betrayal quests?  If anyone could answer either of these I would appreciate it very much.

When you do the betrayal quest you will convert to conjurer. The good news is that you will be able to betray regardless of level.
