I am all for SB continueing, ofcourse I hope it gets a new engine, but
besides that I am fearing the MMO world being filled with carebear

It already is. Shadowbane is the only respite players like us have in a
sick, twisted world of love, hugs and kisses. Without Shadowbane, wer'e
going to have to resort to gaily frolicking through green meadows and
endless fields of flowers; holding hands with gnomes and fairys;
chasing rainbows and wishing upon shooting stars.
