Kingdom of Sky a bit big??

I just purchased kingdom of Sky expansion from WAL-MART and they only carry PC-CD games.

I got home and when i opened the case I was surpired with  a 9 disk set.

What I want to know is did SOE reales a full expansion that does not require EQ2 classic installed on the machine.

Becuse DOF required that EQ2 classic was installed. I was just wondering.

    What you have in your hands is a full verison of the basic EQ2 game AND the KoS expansion.  DoF did not come with the basic EQ2 game, hence requiring it to already be installed.

    I went for the digital download myself but a fellow gamer said same thing when he bought the kos expansion it came with original EQ2 and was a few cds.

    Just loads the whole thing and i think it just overrides some of the old files that are duplicate.Bit annoying loading so many CDs though.
