The Albion Situation

Five years, five bloody years, that is how long I have endured the humiliation as a loyal soldier of Albion. I have seen the war on all fronts. I've seen the beauty of the hills of hiberina, the harsh and cold lands of midgaurd, and I have seen the ruins of Atlantis, such a beatuiful and deadly sight.
I am an Albion citizen and we are but a shadow of our former selves. at one time we ruled all of the relics held the mids, and hibs at bay with our sure might, our numbers counted in the thouands. Now, we are almost extinct. There are almost no albs left. And, our presence in the war has all but dissapated.
We need new blood, an invigoration of hope, new skills of combat and better equipment. Will God not hear my prayer? Will the powers that contol this land help us. Bring back the balance, bring back the might of Camelot!

what realm/server you on?
Yeah thats funny, I'm devon mid AND hib, but mostly mid. We're easily the underdog on this cluster but it's still my home. Before the devon merger when it was Gally and MLF the mids owned it all but when we were clustered with a obviously overpopulated hib cluster we knew that would change.
Last week the hibs finally got the last relic from the albs but the albs woke up, beat up on us mids first (It boggles me why they do that each time) then managed to get 2 relics back. If a mid even mentions anymore the word relic he is literally shunned from any group i.e. ML raid with 122 people "Man this would be a awesome RR BG", "1 group of hibs with theyre 2 bainshee's would own us, go away"
I know bainshee's aren't THAT bad but still a pain. The other night 3 full groups of us were trying to close a port into midgard and we were held at bay for 2 hours by 3 bainshees and a bard.
Again it's not about just the class. This simply put I've noticed that the hibs just have the numbers. If we roll with 2 groups, they hit us with 4. We always know when they're coming while taking a tower because everyone's systems suddenly bog down from the sheer lag.
And lately I've noticed that my free level time has gone from 3 days to 5 so that must mean that albion is hurting even more than us.
All the serves I play on we are equal... you might just need to try another server if it bothers you that much.

For the last year the albes on Guin have had trouble keeping up in RVR.
We have lost all our numbers and the mids have also lost some ppl.
But, I think everyone is heading over to Hib because I see so many people on hib when I play on my perc char.
Like hell would I ever leave my Devon cluster. Thats my home and has been since I started and I just cant make another zerker like the one I got. Theres ways around the overpowering force.
Yeah the relics might hold some kind of power over our melee and magic but oh well. I've been without them for so long I dont even notice it anymore. I dont think it effect's us so much that we're pratically useless on the battlefield. I've taken up guerilla tactics when Im in NF. Usually Im out there at 3 in the morning when the #'s are down for everyone and form a 2-3 person group that can effectivly eliminate an 8 man or do more dmg than they do (meaning they wiped us 2-3 but we took most of them out or killed theyre only rezzers). I don't expect to win, I just expect to mess up they're plans for a bit. My alliance has also started a stealther rvr night and we're talking about a BG of stealthers, not just one group. Guerilla warfare is the way to go when the chips are down.
I wouldn't ever expect to do a Relic Raid because I know for a fact that the hib retaliation would be brutal. Both times I saw them take the albion relics they took EVERY keep and tower instead of just the basic neccesities and kept those for hours after. The first raid they could have easily of gotten relics but they toyed around or something.
I also am loyal yo Albion but I do like playing Hib with the rest of my old guild that moved over there a few months ago.
I've sen this happen before it's just a matter of time before they come back.
