PC, because they share the same world with the Playstation 2 users, so I think it would hold the largest population. I'm afraid the xbox360 version will have a low population, because they don't share the world. And the chance that all 5 xbox360 users in japan buy PSU is pretty small...
PC for me, there's nothing like playing a game at 1920x1200 , 360 looks good but the main reason I won't get it is because you won't be able to play along with PS2 or PC and like mentioned before it will prolly have a low population compared to PC or PS2.

Although id rather play on the tv instead of my computer for obviuos reasons (more comfort and bigger screen etc) i dont have xbox online equipment and also the pc version is combined with the ps2 version so itll have the most people for the longest time, xbox version is standalone and ALSO they put english speaking players with the japanese speaking players just like FFX1 and that was just horrible...could never get a group because no one could speak english in that game
I think i will try PSU on PC, i like keyboard more than Gamepad, but im still trying to play PSO and cant cause a few strange connections problems. On the main menu i can enter my ID and pass, but if i Select Update patch or Start game, the game goes to a window with a blue and red bars and stay there longer, then return to the main Menu.
I hope try PSO before buy PSU to take a personal oriented opinion. I sent my issues to Sega support mail.
Salutes!

If the only requirement to inherit 1 billion dollars was to own and play an X360, I would still be working and that billion would be unclaimed. I wouldn't get it for PS2 because I'm tossing that as soon as PS3 is available outside of e-bay. And I wouldn't play it on PS3 'cause my PC can stomp anything performance and graphics wise compared to PS3 or X360. And it's kinda a moot point anyway, 'cause if I wanna play one more retarded version of PSO from Dreamcast, I'll play PSO on my Dreamcast. Sega needs to die after this
Originally posted by Pimpopotamus I'll probably get it for PC simply b/c I think the controls will be easier. If they aren't, then who knows?
you obviously didnt play pso...trust me...this is a game BUILT for using the controller... if you ever played pso on dc and then tried to play on pc...its atrocious on pc.
PSO BB plays quite well on thye PC as long as you get a USB gamepad controller. In fact, too everyone buying PSU for PC I highly recommend that you pick up a USB controller, or you will suffer (early reveiwers have said as much). 360 controller is supposed to work quite well with it.
Me I'm playing it on the PS2. Couch, TV, stereo >>> PC, office chair. USB KBs work just fine with the PS2 and and the PS3 will be backwards compatible (so i can play it on that too). 360 version would tempts me, but having to listen to complet tools spew oral feces over a headset does not. I choose only to be insulted by those comitted enough to type things out ;-P
I don't want to write this, and you don't want to read it. But now it's too late for both of us.
I don't think a poopulation# will be an issue withthe x360. The x360 version is all sold out in my area, and there are a lot of game store in my area. A lot of people get to test it on the 360 last week and many are sticking with the 360.

I'll be grabbing the PC version since I don't plan to own a 360 for quite a while.

I just really like to know, as was mentioned above, which version has the highest population and/or best connection.
Right now im leaning towards the xb360 version because I know the microphone works really well on the xbox-live network and that adds a lot of fun.
