Still, it's a revolution for procedural coding and will make a mark for years to come...although I'm not sure how well the game will do itself. I'm going to pick it up on principle.
Its unique and different unlike most of the garbage games we've already played 1000 times before. Its innovative and for that alone I'll pick it up. How many years has it been from EQ1 to the mmorpg's we have now? There's none to little innovation since the birth of mmorpg's. Its truly sad.

I know its the big one i've been looking foreward to for awhile in terms of non MMORPG titles next year.
alot of people dont know about it yet, but when it hits the mainstream through ads or whatnot the hype machine will probably be pretty big.
EDIT: i'd call it more of a sim than an MMO, just because you can import and export creatures doesnt really make it an MMO.
Spore is an instant buy for me. Will Wright bleeds innovation.
