If you are reading this then I am no doubt certain you are a fan of many Corean F2P games. I am sure you have experienced how many of these games sell shout-channel acces via the gameshop. No problem. These shouts are just another channel within the normal chatlog box. Personally I think shout selling is a great way to reduce server-wide spam. Kewlness.
In comes HO and their twist on an old story. Force channel. Force wasn't active during CB1, CB2, and OB. Neither was the gameshop ^^
It turns out that Force is a step above shout. It is in a BIG FONT, NEON BLUE, FLASHES AT ROUGHLY 1 HERTZ, and is in a banner log that is positioned above the main chatlog box. You cannot filter this Force channel because 'people have paid for it'. Geuss what people: Companies have paid Anarchy Online countless amounts of real money to implement Real Ads on the in-game hoardings. Guess what folks: we the players have the option to TURN THE HOARDINGS OFF. I GUARANTEE you that the companies paid FAR more real cash for Hoarding real estate in AO than any silly player paid the HO gameshop for their Force channel priveledges.
This game had me intrigued. I have several Corean MMOs on my HD and this is the one I kept launching. NO MORE.
Of course, if HO were TRULY clever, then they would sell 'Force Channel Blockers' now THAT is sommat I would CERTAINLY pay for lolz!

Well I'm not blaming you, unblockable spam chat can be pretty annoying... But that shouldn't really deter you from the gameplay, right? Unless you really didn't like the game in the first place...
In any case, you've got a valid point that they should implement a blocker. Maybe they will with enough player feedback? I wouldn't give up on the game quite yet.
