Ah Well, best advice is don't delete quests if you can avoid it. There's no limit on the number you can have in your journal so just let them pile up.
If you do have to delete one, take note of what part you're up to and who the last person was you talked to so if you want to start it again you know where to go for next time
yeah, a little late tho
So, why did you do that?
Actually I enjoyed group hunting but the Legacy Quest I believe is the best quest yet. Only if we could have a choice of group hunting or questing.
The Legacy quest is a big change from go here and come back over and over again quests we use to have. It actually has a good story and sends u off all over the place. I am really enjoying the legacy quests. Now only if we had this Pre NGE. I hope that if we do have classic servers that they will copy and paste the quests over too.
So, why did you do that?
Heh, what other choice was there if you wanted to be a Jedi?
It has come to our attention, that the questing system is too complex, and is causing unenjoyable experience for many players.
The proposal here is to simplify this system:
- There will now be only one quest. This quest cannot be deleted, and must be completed in order.
- Since interaction with other players may distract the players from completing their quest, this interaction will now be disabled. Every player will play in a single-player instance, until completing the Legacy quest.
- Upon reaching level 90 through Legacy quest, the player will have the ability to enter the full version of the Galaxies
- Legacy quest will be updated with 45-90 content within next 34 chapters.
- New, iconic and starwarsy characters will now be part of this quest. Expect to meet R1-7C, D4-M3, RK-101, TK-73, Rebel Trooper #3 and as a final challenge, Imperial Stormtrooper #7.

The FS Grind was the second biggest mistake in SWG, only behind to Holo hunt...
Grinding has never been fun, and turned a TON of folks off the game...
The Legacy quests are boring, but a neat idea... they're SO repeatative you want to put a Blaster to your head, but the characters and concepts they introduce are a cool idea. The would have been better of doing them in the style of the Padi Trials, where the decisions you make matter... they could have even had Faction "recruiting" moments based on those decisions... just a waste... But GOD they are boring after a while...
I'll start my own SWG... with Black Jack... and Hookers!!!
In fact, forget the SWG!!!!

The only reason why grinding sucked was because it was the only way to advance in the game. If they had put in quests for exp in the beginning and gave you the choice to do either it would have been almost perfect. Now you can still grind, but level up at a slower pace than before. It should be balanced to be enjoyable. But then again working thru quests or grinding is never really fun since it feels repetitive no mater what. People will always try to get to the top as fast as they can and bitch all along the way while they do it. We do it IRL and we do it in games as well. The sad thing is the devs always listened to the worst of the ideas and acted too late on the best.
I spent maybe a total of 3 hours grinding bols on dant. It was when I was down to my last FS box and I wanted to finish it, so I can testify that there were other ways of getting jedi. However, I will admit that becoming jedi wasn't why I played the game and I was in no hurry.
GASP! NO, say it isn't so!! Not number 7!!!!

I was a master ranger with capped scout xp when publish 10 hit. Until the CU, I remained a master ranger and would occasionally trade in my scout/weapon xp when they capped. I spent my time collecting creature resources for my BE and other people's characters.
I didn't unlock my jedi until maybe June or July of 2005. I would probably have unlocked even before then, but I would get tired of my weapon profession and would start up a new one (xp spent on skill boxes not FS boxes).
well, many of these post didnt really help me to be honest...
i checked my "have done " quest in my quest journal, and the last legacy quest i have done was lvl 14: Starting the serach.
so i moved on to next quest, but that dude wont give me any quest, he just tells me to look around at his speeders, what should i do?? i HATE this!
I loved grinding!
Nice Dant mission group and being attacked by BH for a 2 hour fight lol

I did enjoy learning professions though, in hindsight it was fun to see what you could do with the weapon or item.
I mean really, this was somthing else to do, you did not have to do it, you had choice.
Now that is all gone as well.
The hologrind was not so bad perse, I mean if you wanted to do professions anyway it was ok.
No matter what, I think that idea was better then the NGE one, if they HAD FIXED IT BY ADDING CONTENT OR QUESTS AS WELL then it would have even been better.
Nope... another screw up.

So, why did you do that?
Because the Jedi Sith story is the biggest reason I like Star Wars. Star Wars offered me a chance to become a Jedi in a virtual world. I'm a roleplayer that would love to play a Jedi in a virtual world. Grinding Bols and Pickets was the best way to obtain the xp needed to unlock Jedi. That is why I did it.
