Help Final Fantasy XI

I'm a NOOB, when it comes to MMORPG's. The only MMO i've ever played was WOW,and hell Yeah it was good.I've always wanted to play Final Fantasy XI online,but it seems i can never find the game in the country in which i live. I need some sort of help in accquiring this game. I have being a fan of all the previous titles, please can someone just point me in the direction as to how i can get my grubby paws on FFXI. As a extra can someone please tell me what computer specs and internet requirements i need to pllay the game.
