Theres not that many MMORPG's out there, we only have really 5 or 6 well-developed MMO's, if we dont talk about them, what the heck else are we going to talk about?
So if you dont want to read the umpteenth Eve/WoW/SWG love/hate post
of the day, don't login because thats what this site is all about.

Don't you mean DAOC, COHV, and WOW 1-59? DAOC used to be innovative, though I will admit the EA buyout will eventually spell disaster. COHV is the only MMO I have seen that creates actual improvements that the players actually want and care about. There is very little class balancing garbage with that game, which is why it rocks your nuts off like a squirrel in a tree. WOW 1-59 is a lot a fun, at least until you get one toon from each faction to that point. As much as we hate them for it, most of us have friends that still play WOW.
Eve and SWG were never that good. Eve is a chatroom and SWG got pwned the minute KOTOR came out. Eve is utterly and hopelessly boring. SOE does not mix with MMORPG. Like EA, when I see an MMO with their name on it, it's time to buy a different game entirely.

There are about 15, but yeah. The OP is right. FFS shutup. If you people don't like reading about EVE or WoW then go find a new forum because EVE and WoW are 2 of the biggest games out right now. Yeah, WoW dwarfs EVE's numbers.... but the numbers in EVE dwarf most other western MMOs.
I don't know what you people are looking for, those who are complaining. Maybe you're looking for free games? I think you would be better suited for http://onrpg.com and talk about the free games with all the kids there.

Not unless you count games that never took off like Shadowbane or Horizons. All of the major ones... Guild Wars, DDO, FFO, COHV, DAOC, EQ1 and EQ2 have all dwarfed Eve's peak numbers. The OP and you are wrong. FFS grow a brain fool.

Fair enough but most of those threads are just flamebait and don't hold a serious conversation. I myself rarely participate in them because I think they are useless that is why my opinion is that they should be made in their respective forums. To each his own.

How can you serieusly talk about wow its carebear casual brainsless epics grind 100x doing bwl MC AQ or other instance its crap but what the heck almost 7 million play it and have fun it seems unbilievble but its a fact.
I dont hate wow i say it just to easy to simple to much grind to boring.

I never knew of any other MMOs besides EQ1/2, SWG,DAOC, COH and WoW before I came to mmorpg.com.
I enjoy the WoW and EVE bashing. (Personally I like them both).
I like the time like 3 years and before here on mmorpg.com.
Now with wow mmorpgs became so casual and already wow clones or other mmo implement wow style in there game aaarrrgggh:(
ALL these new kids who play wow think they have the best pvp in there carebear mmorpg:P
