New to SB sorta

I haven't played this game in ages, I played it pre both expansions, and I haven't a clue as to what to do. I am currently lvl8 (been playing very casually) and am looking forward to sticking around for a while. I know at 10 I am supposed to leave noob isle and head to the mainland and pick a profession.

Any input for a new human fighter?
