Need help choosing between WoW, Lineage II, FFXI, and Guild Wars...

Ok, its really hard choosing between some of the biggest mmorpg games in the world, WoW, Lineage II, Final Fantasy XI and Guild Wars. What I want to know is which game has the biggest clans (clan wars), bosses, and how is the community? I have loads of time, I just need an addictive mmorpg game to waste it on...

I think that Guild Wars factions is the best, and it's cheap, so if you buy it, you can also buy Lineage II or something.

Well I'd say a game that never ends.. Never tried Lingeage 2 but 1 was nice.

You should just try them out and see what you like. It's pretty individual what you like in a game and not. :)

Try Everquest 2 aswell, but somehow I think you've allready tried it since you didn't write it down. :)

And we have a NICE List of games here on the site. :P

Good luck in finding the game that will ruin your social life ;)

Lineage 2 was the biggest let down for me. It has far too many problems and issues with players. That being said I havent played it in 2 years now so maybe they have fixed those probems with all the chinese farmers who used to run everyone out of the lower lvl zones so they could farm adena to sell. WoW I just started about 3 months back and so far its everything that all the other MMORPG's that I have played lacked or did a poor job of. Im not in the endgame stuff yet but its a fun game that gives you lots of opportunities.

If you look around a bit you should be able to find some free trials for the games.  That is the best way to make your desicion.

WoW for sure, it can take a long time to lvl up, or you can gtrind
grind grind, but dont let that bother you, this game is amazing, its
pretty much always got somthing for you in whatever mood your in, if ur
playing for a long time or for 10 mins. guild wars was a bit boring for
me, i did love that game, but rpg is very limeted in a way, (i cant
spell get over it) once you get to the end, which doesnt take to long,
its the same stuff over and over, where as WoW you can make a new char
on a different faction. but o well im just rambeling now, try them all
    out.

Well, it is not on your list, but you -must- play Everquest II! For me, it is the best MMORPG available. I takes some to level up to level 70, but you have an unbelievable range of content with nearly 2,000 quest at the moment. There is still a trial version of the game: try it and then subscribe it!
