WOW! thats a big big big BIG thing to live up to! better bring it all out. i know its acclaim so prolly gonna be anime style so prolly wont play  anyways. Good luck to those who play, will check later on development.

If I don't crap my pants in fear, and don't cry like a four year old girl who just had freddy krugger(the original) scream at her at four in the godforsaken morning. Then i'm going to be disappointed. It, at the very least, has to rival Ninja Scroll, or Ninja Resurrection, in gore. Otherwise, I will not be satisfied. Yes yes...I am sick and twisted....AND I LOVE IT!

I saw a video from Dekaron that had blood spots on the ground when you hit stuff. That was about as violent as it got.

So... They have there work cut out for 'em.

Well, that video was from Dekaron, which is the game Acclaim is taking and changing/redoing or something into 2Moons. But even so, it's going to need a lot more gore if they're going to use the "most violent MMO" thing as part of their salespitch.

I currently play Dekaron, and whether or not you guys think its violent or not, they have every right saying its most violent "MMO" out, because it is. Basing it vs FPS games and etc. would definately rate it out, but we are talking about MMOs here, where 99% of all MMOs make their games so 5 year olds and 65 year olds can enjoy them, 2 Moons isnt...

Yes, it may indeed be the most violent "MMO" out (though with Age of Conan coming around the bend it has some competition) but the point I was trying to make was that if Acclaim is going to market this game as violent, gory, adult, etc. - it's going to have to truly be just that. Some blood splattering on the ground isn't going to impress anyone who's played games like Grand Theft Auto, Manhunt, Dead Rising, and Mortal Kombat.

The thing that worries me with this game is that the focus will be too much on being violent, and not enough on being fun and captivating. Keep in mind that I'm not saying the game is bad by any means; I've yet to play it. But my pessimistisc side keeps telling me that I'm going to log-in and fail to be impressed by a shallow game with some blood and profanity. In this case I hope I'm proved wrong.

yeah, haven't really seen a MMO that is bloody...

If violence is the selling point, Im worried. I could care less if there is blood or gore. I want good gameplay and a fun environment. If the devs mean the the game will be unforgivving and mean, then I am interested. I want a wild west free for all environment. If thats what they mean by violent, then I am all for it. If by violent, they mean pixelated gore, Im not sold.
