I've been looking around ,but seem to not be able to find any games that focus on crafting much. Is there a game where crafting is a huge part of the world, and actually has some use, other then just making crappy armor that is beaten easily by doing a stupid raid? (WoW) I'm looking for a game that allows one to get really deep down and involved in crafting and it mean something to the game world you in. Anyone know any games like that?

Sounds like you need Vanguard, where 1/3rd of the game is no shit harvesting/crafting, or will be by release.
Both of what they have already released and what they plan to release seem to be right on par, if not more, with what you desire, especially the "being useful" part.
Not sure how much else I can say about that, just don't be afraid to invest some time in checking out Vanguard and trying the Beta if you get a chance and you'll find yourself quite satisfied.
If I say anymore, I'll have to kill you, of course.
Other than that, Horizons had a pretty thought out crafting system, but as to where it went after it's initial release I have no idea. The game might be too close to death to mess with now too.
I would recommend The Saga of Ryzom, there is a free trial (no time limit, you just can't leave the starting island).
With the exception of a few items you get for doing your newbie quests everything in the game is player made.

For crafting, SoR.
For industry & production, economy and research, Eve online.
Even with the NGE, SWG is still quite crafter centric. Everything except for weapons is generally better crafted then anything you'll loot or get as a quest rewards and some things can't even be found as loot or a quest reward.
Crafting itself in SWG is fairly involved, as you need to use survey tools to find resource spots, harvestors to harvest resources from the spots, specific crafting tools for the items your making and factories to mass produce components before you can even start to make your final goods. When it does come time to make your goods, the quality of your resources are important as they affect the outcome of your goods. At a certain point in the crafting process, you can run experiments on your product to improve certain stats of it. Experimentations range in success and can do anything from greatly improving your product to having the complete opposite effect. Once you have the product just the way you like it, you can create a schematic of it and have it mass produced in a factory. Either way, once you have the product, you can then set up a vendor in your own house for people to buy the product from.
The next publish for the game is designated to improving the crafting section of the game and bring in more customization options for crafted goods. This should fix the issue with crafted weapons being worse then anything you can find as a quest reward and should hopefully further improve what is already superior to looted/quested goods.
Naturally though, going into a game that is about to have the part you're interested in probably isn't too appealing, but it's certainly something to keep an eye on Afterall, SWG has been said to have the best crafting options in an MMO.
I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.
