Free mmo getting better ?

Well seems to me the free mmo world has taken a step up in the running .

Very much so, it's taken Several steps up. But it's still a couple stories below pretty much anything that's p2p in the terms of content. Even the best Free MMORPG has alot less content than the worst high budget p2p.

So much of the time it's not the MMO itself but the people which join the F2P MMO communities which bring them down. I think the increase of F2P MMO availible is just helping the thin out the idiots throughout multiple games. I also think that MMO players are slowly becoming a bit more accepting these are WORLD played games and aren't taking international players like they are invading on some kind of sovereign territory.

you must not have played very many if you think that. most of them suck so bad i don't spend enough time to even notice the community.

I agree. The quality is improving overall. 9Dragons is a recent example of this and hopefully Acclaim will continue to be a part of ending the trend that free MMO's are often shoveled out crap.

i couldnt find a single "f2p" MMO thats worth my time - they dont have any of the things u need in order to make a "good" mmo (community is usually crap / bugs / story line / etc.) - however  - i got no problem with them since it takes away the "bad" players from the good P2P MMO - and it helps to bring up thier community.
