I can't wait for this to come out. I played the weekend special and find it quite good. I already own prophecies and it's great.

Yeah this is looking a better than Factions, and the Hero mechanics are a great addition, can't wait.

well most players said the same things about factions and after 1 month , this game is a big disappointment and stuff like that . they said this game is great after beta event and after ... u all know

i ll probably wait , and then decide if i m going to buy it ...

uh, no, factions wasnt a great dissappointment. it meant as a continous, with a huge learning curive, thus, newcomers didnt like it. also, it focued more for pvp than pve.

nightfall, is for pve than pvp. nice balence to the mix

Well, Nightfall will probably have a huge learning curve too for new players.  But to be honest, I dont really care.    Actually, I'm really pleased that ArenaNet hasnt wasted a bunch of time making long drawn out areas for newbies in Factions.  More level 20 content, which is the good stuff   Plus it means I dont have to get my new characters ran to Drok's for the best armor, hehe.

Prophecies has always been and probably always will be the Starter campaign-  The best campaign to get to know the game with.  That only makes sense, doesnt it?  The new campaigns are mostly just stand-alone to warrent the $50 price tag as opposed to a $30 price tag which would be more usual for a MMORPG.  Of course, GW is no normal MMORPG, and the extra $20 makes perfect sense seeing how we just enjoyed 6 months of free server use since the last campaign.  I'm still pleased, for the most part

Definitely not a huge fan of factions though.  I never really thought much of factions from the start, but its not that way with Nightfall.  I'm very very excited about Nightfall.  Especially the new arena, which will let us really go head to head 1vs1 against another player in a semi-RTS fashion.  One thing I always thought GW was lacking PvP wise was 1vs1 duels.  And here they are!    They've found a way around the fact that GW gameplay is based on team work by giving us the whole hero system.

I'll just be sad when I realize that I cant bring my heros with me on missions in Cantha or Tyria   That's going to be pretty depressing.  I remember when I found out that they werent going to add Ritualist and Assassin henchies to the original campaign in Factions-  That made me pretty mad.

Which brings me to another point, which is that Factions was disliked because it was setting the scales for how the additional GW campaigns would be.  Now that we have Factions, we have gotten over some of the things that we dislike about the whole campaign adding system, and we wont be disgruntled to find that we cant start Paragons in Cantha or Tyria, that Cantha and Tyria wont have elite skills or armor for Elonian classes, and that we wont have the same henchies as before either.  So in some ways, the worst is already over.

I'm just worried about how the new campaign will affect my study habits and social habits.

i am saying get the collectors edition as i am i have the other two in collectors edition and was v happy with.them nightfall was brill in beta loved the hero's u get and you can give them wepons and things too and pick skilly you want them to use PVE a lot better now you get more control thanks

but the price of te next on is 70 euro's its expensive
