New .Hack MMORPG

I think it's awesome that they're making .Hack//Fragment in America. It can be played online or offline and It is a huge revoloution for .Hack fans everywhere!I just wish it wouldn't take so LONG!!!

PS. I hear they already made it in Japan, true or not?

My favorite anime would have to be Dragonballz back in the day. Then Inuyasha, the fighting scenes and story was sweet. Then i watched the season of FLCL which was pretty good but...a little strange lol

The only anime I ever watched was Aeon Flux, and I'm not even sure if that's considered anime. I do know that anime people put pretty strict rules on what's considered anime, but damned if I know what those are and I am pretty sure that I don't care.

I honnestly don't understand why people want a .hack mmorpg so badly. Take away the story (No, those things don't happen irl) and what do you have left? A game with absolutely NOTHING to do besides endless dungeon runs. thats it. there is NOTHING more to it.

My favorite animes are probably "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" and "Honey & Clover". I've not really been a fan of ony of the ones on your list.

-Edit- Cowboy Bebop and Tenchi Muyo are the only "mainstream" animes I enjoy.

Bleh I hate FLCL.  Naruto is almost perfectly setup to be a level based MMO.  It already has most of the system sketched out in a general sort of way.

Samurai Champloo is just as good as Comboy Bebop IMO.  But its done by the same guys so there you go.

From what I heard .hack//fragment isn't doing too hot in japan. The game is not exactly a real mmorpg. It's more like a game connection service because the games are hosted on your machine not on a centralized server. You only login to the chatrooms to look for other 2 players to join your game (think Diablo 1 and battle.net)

I wish there was a Kozure Okami anime but rather some kind of movies
then series, a quadrology so the story wouldn't become bizarred and
shortened too much. Would be a job for Hayao Miyazaki, say what you
want I think he is unbeatable in creating proper dramaturgy and drawing
bows. I just heard recently people bitching about Miyazaki for being so
"commercial" and "mainstream", pfff... when do people get that "film"
IS commerce, that it's always been commerce and that commerce is the
only reason why there is "film"! Otherwhise there'd be mere art films
but myself and especially people who blubb about things being too
"commercial", be it music or film or whatever, usually CRAVE to be
actually entertained by these things! If I need an art-fix I can always
go to a vernissage or in the museum or strip off, maul the sheet off my
bed and create a mess splashing acryl colours around.......

I think the game will play normally offline like the other .Hack games but online will be the same but a lot funner. I don't think it will ruin the image of the world either because while some of the games might be random dungeon raiding they are making ones that are more fun.
