I've heard many rumors on a MMORPG based on the .hack games/shows. Any one else heard about this? My god it would be a dream come true...

    Thats a really cool idea, i would most definatly play a game like that.

    If trees could scream, would we be so cavalier about cutting them down? We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.

    Meh. I hate the .hack series. The second one had big changes over the first one...but the rest have had no upgrades. Just the storyline changes...

    Well i am not a fan of the dot hack series either. But i think a game like that would be really enjoyable. As for the dot hack video game series...just like the sims...copy paste games suck.

    Damn it. I was hoping someone here would know more. Bugger. Oh well, you can't have everything.

    I think a game based on The World would be super cool. As long as you can customize your character, so we don't have hapes of Kite, Black Rose, Balmung, Aura, etc wannabes running around.

    They'd have to change or add a lot of stuff.... like crafting and maybe classes.

    The way it is now, its just dungeon crawling, leveling and searching for items... er yea... grunties.... but still not enough imo

    I wish they would make a "The World" game, it'd be awesome, especially if it put you into the game with a vr headset with a body suit that would shock you when you get hit. I'd be plugged into it 24/7!

    It would be kick ass if .Hack became a Online Game, and also should be for all systems too, except Game cube, they didnt think gamers wanted online play... they even admited that >.< But i hope there will be a .Hack including for PC e.e;;; which is most likely -cough- ^_^;;

    Wow!

    Are you talking about just making 'The World' or actually a dothack game, cuz the series had some stuff that occurred outside the game as well...

    The World game could be interesting... but it wouldn't be that hard...

    Well I think that a MMO based on Hack. would be very cool but they have more to change if thay take the same thing as the anime or the game ...

    Hope it will not be like PT.

    Would be funny if they had en ep or 2 in the .hack series based on level grinding or players getting bugs and waiting for a patch...

    Tabula Rasa is a bit like that... parts of fantasy and sci fi mixed together, going into teleporter gates, etc....

    PSO sounds similar too.

    a .hack mmo would be sweet, except for a group of ppl taking over and randomly slayling ppl like a witchhunt in the show, u buy the game pay the money and can be taken out by other players *pulls on collar simpsons style* guhguhguhguhimage

    Yah! more people that agree with me.  Figures that I'd have to go online to find people with likes and interests similar to my own.  I emailed BANDAI a few days ago asking if anyone there could tell me something substaintial about the .hack MMORPG rumors floating around but I havent heard from them yet.  I'll post again as soon as I get a friggin reply.
