in 9Dragons
This is making me really mad. Everytime I go to download the 9Dragons client it always ends up messing up and exiting out. I mean it was at 30 minutes left and the piece of %@#! messed up. So I am just going to give up, because the stupid people need to make the download servers wayyyy better!

    Well i managed to get the client downloaded and patched but i cant get my damn account to work :/

    I cant believe this is a premade import game with all the problems people are having.

    If yer gonna ditch yer account can you pm me yer details so i can try it? (I have an existing beta account but it wont work right now)

    Same. I d/l'd in about 10 minutes, been playing al evening. Pretty fun game, more than I thought it would be.

    I'd say you must have a real crappy connection speed if it got "down" to 30 minutes and messed up. Man, how long did the download supposed to take?

    download managers are also your friend.
    Flashget will detect and grab it for you.

    Well the originial time it says it takes to download is about 6 hours.

    Are all of you guys that have fast download time downloading the game straight off of the Acclaim website?

    Answer me please, do you guys download the game straight off of the Acclaim website or do you use some sort of program to help you download it? If so whats the name of the program and where can you get it? It takes me 6 hours to download the game and that is way to long and just like XeroKnight it gets some sort of error when it is really clsoe to finishing and I really want tp play this game and I am starting to get pissed off.

    I downloaded straight from the Acclaim Website and took about an hour to get it on a UK 10Mb connection. Downloaded first time, connected and updated no problem at all.

    It must be Thursday, i never could get the hang of Thursdays.

    Ok I use a router and my connection is constantly between 20-50 MBPS and it still takes 6 hours. I tried it on my moms computer which is not on a router just to see how long it would take and it still said 6 hours. I am real pissed off now. I have like the gayest interent in the world. Its earthlink DSL. So I guess im not going to be playing the game anytime soon because I won't be able to DL it. Have fun playing the game guys, if anyone has any suggestions to try and speed up my DL speed/time please post it. Bye

    I'm no computer savy guy like some posters here. All I can tell you is i went to the site and used the downloads link at the top. This was after I first made an Akklaim account (registered).

    Other than that, dunno what to tell you except that you should write their support maybe? You could set it up to d/l then go to bed, but if their is an error, is it timing out?

    I hope you can get it to work, good luck.

    Huge advice because i made that mistake.

    If you have an account with acclaim already you need to make sure that you dont use the same account name for this game.

    You cant have several games in the same account because then you get account pending until they fix the account managment page.

    Why you get accound pending is that earlier account/game cant use same email adress as the one you registrate with this closed beta game.

    A real mess but make sure to post it on games closed game forum so the admins see it..

    ok search google for "free download manager" and download/install it. Then download the game again. took me like 20 mins, i have a 11mb/s connection and what the download manager does is lets say the server has an upload speed of 20kb/s, what the manager does is it copies the file 5 times, so you get 20kb/s times 5 = 100 kb/s, so it speeds up ur download. Also if u "loose connection" with the server, the manager will save the file and continue the next time it regains connection. hope that helps.

    Alrite, for those of you having problems downloading try a different web browser as well. Personally i use Firefox and never have a problem with it. i set it up to download and go to the pub or something.

    on the other side of the fence, you all who are having problems logging into your accounts, when you go to log in tell them you forgot your username/password and it will email you your current usernames or what have you and tell them you forgot your password and after answering the "secret questions" you can reset it.

    for anymore technical issues or any other downloading problems look at the community forums on the offical 9Dragons website.

    I have tried pretty much everything except changing account but then ill prob loose my cb slot

    Changing email or password as a solution doesnt help either

    Tried that last night but acclaims homepage was messed up will try that today.

    I also had trouble downloading the client, took me about 10 tries  to finally get the fille  to show up on my HD when it was done ( worked when i changed save location to desktop ). But wasn't taking me but 45 mins a try for it to DL  so i just kept trying and let it run in the background while i did other stuff.

    Started to ouze inpatiance no mail back from support no response to a crapload of forums post not only by me.

    Anyway was fun winning less fun not to be able to use the cb slot.
