Archlords vs. WoW ?

 hallo,

I have been playing WoW since release, today I saw the new game in the shop , I think it was something like  "archlords". Well now I looked some screenshots and the first thing I  thought "omg, wooow , the screeny are very nice". The bad thing was , that you have to pay for this game every month...

Could you give me probably a comparacy between WoW and archlords (I still hope the spelling is correct)?

Would it be better to change? What - and + does this game have comparesing to wow? Is pvp better ? Is the way you fight better than in wow, if not, what than?

    they are quiet impresive...

    I'd have to agree that this game is crap, played it during the beta for a little while and it was horrid.

    LOL, I haven't tried Archlord yet but thanks to all the bad press on here I am going to pick up the game just so I can see just how bad of train wreck it really is.

      Game isnt Horrid. It's simply not good enough to be p2p material. It has some nice features.  However if anyone is actually planning to buy this thing I would recommend waititng a few months. Game was very buggy during BETA, and since they released very fast I would doubt they got many of them ironed out.


    It's better be hated for who you are, than loved for who you aren't.

    Game is a typical Korean game. sadly, over 80% of the mmorpg.com community knows close to nothing about Korean MMO's. ArchLord is a good game, If your into PVP and Clan politics. I suggest you wait a while though, as the game is filled with bugs right now. if your into PVP, big chance you will like AL.

    WoW dropped a deuce in the toilet, it was Archlord.

    I tried Archlord in beta, and I couldn't stand the point and click to move. I stopped playing it after a few minutes.
    It looks like some people could enjoy it. I'm sure that PvP in Archlords is better than PvP in WoW, but I'd never get that far.

      Well the pvp aint too bad, it's pretty quick too. Problem is potion spamming kinda erases alot of the pros about it.

    They are completely different types of games.

    Arch Lords Graphics go from very good to sort of "meh". It is very much like Lineage 2 in some respects. So, if you want to try a more polished game, I would suggest that.

    Having said that, they both are open PvP games with hard grinds. Quests are not as "fun" as WoW's as both games are more about clan politics, PvP and PvP goals.
