The Killers :When you were young-- You likey?

Anyone else like this song. I freaking love it!! Its been a while since Ive heard a song thats made me feel so alive. And no I cant sound anymore emo if I wanted to.

Too bad none of the other songs on the album are a bust. Personally the last album was GREAT. I heard at least 6 songs that could of went to radio..sadly only a couple of those did.


Im wondering if the slightly younger generation likes this band. Its easy for me to identify with the sound of The Killers because they drew from so many 80s infulences. But most of the kids today were not even alive in the 80s

    Yeh the new album is crap.

    Got bored of "when you were young" cus played too much on radio and tv (UK)

     

    Bones is a good song tho

    I might of got tired of "when you were young" but I no longer live in southern california.....and here in the STICKS (kentucky) I never hear anything good.


    Some of the better quality bands (jet+the killers)dont seem to be getting as much attention as they deserve.

    I lvoe the UK the music charts r sooo diverse we have abit of everything in it :P In American its usually justt he same old pop hip hop crap

    Guy from the UK ::::20:: I agree completely. All the music I hear on the radio now a days sounds less like music and more like a song that was made for a Pepsi Commercial. I have the feeling that the music that is being released, especially from the "PoP/Hip-Hop" genre is made for the sole purpose of being a marketable image and that in turn = $$ from advertising and endorsements.


    I have no problem with bands making money off of there creativity. But to make music just to make money is unbeleivably lame. Its like they think to themselves "hey this song sucks but its a bit catchy and I bet it would sound great in that Coca-Cola ad".

    U2- Great band. Makes great music. Ended up making alot of money....BECAUSE the music was so good.

    Rage against the Machine-Music had a message and was good music at that. In turn they made money.

    Black eyed peas- This group is all fluff and air. They have NO SUBSTANCE. Well except Fergies implants. There music is terrible. They sell image, not music. There image makes them money. ::::07::

    I like it.  It is a great blend of influences these days.  Lot of Bowie.  Lot of Floyd.  Lot of New Order and Depeche Mode.  No more running around in baggy sweaters with baggy jeans and noserings.  The girls look good, the guys look good, and the mood is energetic.  Music is fun again, but deep too.

    Have you seen the guy from the killers? He looks like the creepy uncle in the family that nobody likes to talk about or invite over. And to the OP, no, no I don't like this song or this band at all image
