the funny thing is that Codemasters are complete morons.. they cancel Dragon Empires for this junk..
Dragon Empires wasn't lookin too great either. We'll see if Archlord makes any money for CM, cause if it does there is no reason whatsoever for them to invest in anything other than already developed games from korea

Lets see...my first foray into a Codemasters game was RFOnline for which I paid...didnt take to long to cancel that one because of the grind and poor/confusing customer support. I was pumped about getting into the early bata for Archlord but shortly become tired of the grind again and soom gave it up. CM has a long way to go to entice me again thats for sure.
Wow, I didn't think Archlord was going to be this big of a dissapointmet. I've read little about the game and I've seen their advertisment posted all over mmorpg but never really paid attention to it. I suppose it was a good thing I kept ignoring it, just from these reviews alone I'm glad I didn't invest any of my time into the game.

one of the worst games (MMO;s) i've ever played. actually, it is the worst MMO i've ever played.
got into beta about 3 weeks before open beta. not a single time that i reported a bug or exploit or even make a suggestion did i get any response. not even an acknowedgement from the team.
played for about a week and just couldnt do it anymore. not a big surprise its free now as it'[ll be dead in a few months
At least it's free! You don't have to pay monthly subscription. That's a big props for them (CM). Although this game is quite indeed boring and it's not really my thing. Regardless, it's fun to play as being an Archlord.
Have to agree even free to play its a pile of sh1te. I went back to give it a go when it went free to play and it took me a hour to be bored senseless again so the disk is now consigned to the recycle bin if i could figure out what category do dvd's come under in our recycling bins
Greatness is difficult to appreciate from close up. The great mountain on the horizon is only the ground when you are standing on it.
the reason the gfx suck so much is because apparently Korean developers haven't discovered that whole "Antialiasing" and "antistropic filtering" thing yet. I have yet to see a Korean MMO that has no jagged edges. For instance Silk road - couldve been a great game, but the point and click moving ruined it for me. Plus there was WAY too much HDR and not enough anti aliasing. IT just made stuff look shiny and pixely. It really was rather annoying from a graphical standpoint.
