Purchased a Xbox controller for my PC for PSU.

It has been 10+ years I would imagine since I last used a gamepad/controller for any PC I have owned but I went out and got an XBox controller for my PC (technically iMac running bootcamp, hehe) just for this game.   Kinda seems werid paying $40 for a controller that will only be used for a $50 game.

But I really think that this game is going to keep my fansy for a bit and wanted to be sure to get the full experience.  Has anyone else ran out and got a controller just for this game, or planning on doing so?

Yeah, I'm considering getting one myself, I don't quite feel that the keyboard is gonna be ideal for the combat. Where'd you get yours?

Best Buy.  I was there picking up BF:2142 and thought that I would go ahead and get the controller since my preorder of PSU is less than a week away.

Is the controller in the computer section, or is the original one compatible with the pc? I recall seeing adapter online for the PS2/ Xbox controllers for the PC.

The XBox Wired controller works without any problems on the PC.  It is a USB input device.  As far as the wireless controller I believe it works as well but you may have to config it.   I haven't actually tried the controller out yet as I am waiting to see if PSU is going to really be best with a controller or not.  If I feel fine using the keyboard with it most likely I will take back the controller and save my $40. ;)

I bought a gamepad for this game, but I'm using it with other games too.  I know I'm going to love this game and it's worth the money.  I've played PSO on PC with a keyboard, and it just isn't the same as on a console with a controller.

I have one and have been using it in PSU jp.  I dont see how anybody can play this game without one.  Anyway the 360 controls work perfect on this game def worth it.

Awesome thanks.   By the way where did you download your drivers at for your 360 controller?  Thanks in advance.

Look on the left side at the Downloads section and follow it from there to get the driver download.

    Good luck!
