How much does this game cost per month or is it like guild wars you buy it and its free?

    The Guardian License (subscription) has two levels:
    The $9.99 per month with 15 free days package and the $49.99 per 180 days with 30 free days package.

    I signed up for the 15 day 9.99 package and got charged for it 2 days later..so where is the 15 days free sigh.

    The 15 days and the 30 days are tacked onto the end of of your subscription.  There isn't a trial period.  I think a lot of people are thinking the free days are used before they bill you, but this isn't the case.  This is a game that requires you to pay up front to play.

    I believe we can play it on singleplayer mode without paying for a GUARDIAN license.
    But, it is true. There is no real trial for this game because you also have to pay to get the game.

    Yeah you are corect there, youcan play the single player and Extra modes without having a GL.  Though for the PC you still do have to be on a machine with an internet connection to play both of those modes, but that is another story but thought it woth mentioning.
     
    The funny thing is that while we like to call PSU a MMO, it isn't thus SEGA feels they can break the mold of typical MMOs by offering the online mode without a free trial.   But honestly considering that if you do the monthly plan the most you are going to be out is $10 to try out the game, if you really don't think that you are going to get your $10 worth out of at least trying the online mode, then you really most likely should pass on this.    Personally just from my research and based on videos I was confident another to puchase the 180 withotu having played a single moment of the game.   
     
    $10 after a $50 game purchase really isn't that big of deal.   And considering even if you don't like online mode, you are just out $10 and still have a completely fun offline/extra mode game to be able to play.
