By all means! We always welcome new players here! It's a fun game for all!
The grind is not at all bad. MUCH better than MapleStory or Silkroad Online
At the start, you'll be learning how the game goes, as a vagrant. You'll have fun doing it, the first time. When you get to lv 15, you can change class, thats where the real fun begins though
There are 4 continents on Flyff. Each with it's own look, some continents are big such as Darkon. There are also many places that are good for sight-seeing, when you get to fly at lv 20, you should see the whole world of flyff! Some places are beautiful, especially Darkon 3
Flyff is really easy to learn. The controls are very straighforward. You also get the name of the town or place once you approach it.
Every class in Flyff has lots of different weapons and armour, some are pretty cool. Lots of character customization to avoid "clones"
Have fun! Don't forget to rate it if you like it!
at lvls 36 - 45 grinds are pretty tough and you agree with some reviews saying "OMG!! THIS IS A STUPID GRIND GAME!! OMFG OMFG OMFG!!" if it's really that hard, find someone to level with. when you get to lvl 45, there are these things called set items and people always want the lvl 45 sets. they make lvling 10 times easier.
when you're able to go to darkon for the first time, it's a revolution. taking on huge monsters, tanking bosses, and making a few friends along the way.
from what i've said it's all about grinding lol... no. you'll occasionally find higher lvls helping out the low lvls and some... not helping them (me lol). flyff has random islands in the sky for you to chill with friends when youre bored and the maps in darkon 1 - 3 are amazing... simply amazing. you can NEVER get tired of flyff after lvl 45. you're away from the huge grinds.
when you wanna see how good your character is against others, go to the pvp arena south of a town called saintmorning. you'll get there at lvl 18 - 20 and in the arena you can fight other people within 30 lvls' range of you. also, you can play a game of life at the PK channels. you can attack a character just like they were monsters and you get punished too... however if you kill people that are bad named, you get their money and items.
I say:
1. definitly a huge grind since the main object is to level
2. that all depends if you like korean grinding games. If you feel that whatever's behind that long road of grinding is worth it.
3. It's not that big what I know.
4. Definitly. This is one of the easiest games I've seen.
5. No I don't think the items are that fun and variating. I'd say that the only thing variating enough is the number of different food's there are... and drinks. Otherwise you can definitly see clones everywhere.

"
And I don't want to hear anything about "I don't believe in vampires" because *I* don't believe in vampires, but I believe in my own two eyes, and what *I* saw is ******* vampires! "
2. Really depends who you meet. If you don't make enough friends being a vagrant can be very dull indeed.
3. FlyFF is a decent sized world. It's not ginormous or anything, but
it's still very fun to explore around, especially in Darkon.
4. Yeah, as a vagrant it's easy to ease into things.
5. There's different equipment for different classes and levels. Some
look gay, some look pimp, some look mediocre. Players of the same level
will often look identical to one another though. And there's always
cash shop items if you really want to spruce up your character.
1. Grind is big at 30+ or 45+ for most people
2. lots of fun if you have friends
3. Lots of land to explore - especially in the high lvl area
4. can be easy can be hard depends on how you come across
5. lots of cool items - sometimes over priced
My history:
I played flyff for about 3 months i made my first million when i was 18, some guy who was leaving left and gave me his money. After a while i spent it all on stupid items i wouldn't need. Later on i made 2million, from getting usefull items e.g. greens (rares), quest items. My first char was a mage. I gave up at 32 coz i was bored.
Afterwards i became an assits, they lvl mega fast. I made it all the way to lvl 50 and made 90mill. With this 90 mill, i bought cheap rares and sold them at their real rare price. From this i doubled my gains and bought cash items with it. I admit that i liked the game soo much i bought cash. I used the cash (gpotato) to sell for millions.
In the end i got a pet and some cash clothes. I sold them and made more money. From all this money i was able to upgrade all my rare clothes to +3 using pd4's and some of my wepons to +6 or +7 using cash and pd4's. On this account i have the full +3 lvl 15, lvl 30, lvl 45, lvl 60 sets (with the rare weapons). I guess some people would say i was a addict to the game, probably money hungry. I made guild one time, didn't last long. Joined "Alexisonline"'s guild, we became good mates till he became busy and so did i. I left him with 19million penyas of quest items, and 6 million penya. I would say i was a generous person, even though i was money hungry. I would plvl when ever i could even though it was 6 mins left of training left.
Flyff...... is a game of community. If Grinding is not your thing, lvl up to do community things instead of who can pwn the most people.
And oh yes before i forget, if you need advice let me no coz i still no my stuff on flyff. I also no the currency for gpotato - penya: 1mill per 100 gpotato. Sunglasses= 2000 gpotato which is equal to 20mill.
If you dont believe me, with all the stuff about "Alexisonline" ask him if he remembers "Kichoki" aka Louis. He will remember me lol

I guess I could say it is fun from the start, you begin as a vagrant (neutral class) and the first 15 levels easily and progressively make you get familiar with the game. The first city is not very big, but you will encounter some NPCs with various quests. Some will not find the beginning of the game very interesting, but from level 1 to 15, you'll be on the battle field making friends and partying with them. This is the most important part, team work starts early in this game, although you can solo quite far without a problem, it's your choice
But, in teams or alone, you will definitely have many beautifull places to visit, various and well-designed monsters to fight, get acquainted with some game mysteries and enjoy your character's progression as you get stronger and learn new skills or spells.
As I said, I am always looking forward to playing it, although I don't have much free time these days.
One piece of advice: During special events, the game becomes so crowded it is hard to get in. Don't base your appreciation of the game on these periods of time, usually an event does not last longer than a week, so just be patient and once the event is over you will be able to enjoy it fully.
I play flyff since the beta (long time ago), its obvous that now i only play as a casual gamer, but the time that i play flyff its always funny, you can mess arround, and its cool...
1- The grindfest is not huge, you have a main quest after getting a class (lvl15) that its huge, but most people dont know that it exist , cause you have to explore, the prizes of these quest are good like big ammounts of money(to buy the fastest board or broom for example) and exp...There is also a funny feature that its killing giants to get kind of minerals...funny thing i cant explain now
2- I say level one to second job its the funniest part of the game
3- man most people dont go to drakon 3, ( cause its dificult) but i say flyff is big egnough , and you can fly island to island (in sky) that gives more reality, than teleporting...There are interesting dungeon areas
4 yes it is
5- yes
and one more thing, now i am playing only in pk servers, cause it is so much fun...And if you got killed with negative karma you go to prison island ( other big and beatifull island, with unique scenarios and characters) and you will have to make a quest to get out of there, otherwise you will stuck there, and you will not be able to play in the main world and in normal servers...Other thing when you have negative karma, the guards in town will attack you, and other players, too..its mad when you got negative karma
2. It was ok, but a bit repetative
3. Yah a good bit of terrain
4. The learning curve was not bad at all
5. Yah good amounts of originality
My god has horns.... nah, I don't think he is real either.
