I am looking to join a guild - Serious about PvP; I started the game about 1 week ago.

Hi all,

After joining a couple guilds that were spamming in RA/TA, I've come to the realization that the way to get into the right guild is through a forum like this.

Here is what I'm seeking in a guild, based on what kind of a player I am:   I'd definitely consider myself hardcore, though I do have a full-time job (I am 27 years old).  I've always been among the best gamers among the people that I've known.  I take gaming seriously, especially PvP.  Gaming is my primary hobby, and has been for the last 24 years.

This does not mean that I'm a leet dude or a shit talker or overly competitive.  I am mature, intelligent, and definitely have a winning drive within me, but at the same time, I don't take gaming too seriously.  But when I play I like to be at the top of my game.  I'm seeking a guild of people with similar dispositions.


Ultimately, my goal is to become skilled with Guild Wars, and to play near the top of the game.  I can devote 3-5 hours on weekdays, and most of the weekends to this goal.  I'd like to get into a guild that does regular groups daily or 4-5 days a week.

I'd like a guild that is focused around building strong teams of strong players.  Must use voice comms, must be serious about PvP, but at the same time, must be positive and play the game to have fun.


Some important things to consider: 

• I've only been playing 1 week at this point.   I've gotten skilled enough to do well with a couple builds :
  

            Recurring Soul Barbs Mesmer   (I've played this one the most - slightly modified)
            and
            Flashfire Mesmer/Elementalist  (I'm using/continuing to modify a slightly modified version of this build).

• So far I am very much enjoying mesmers, and I'm starting to get into assassins.

• I have a fast computer, will have a fast internet connection, and I'm ready to devote a good amount of energy to this...  at the moment, I've not gotten as much skill in the game as the more learned players, but within 1 week I've gotten skilled enough with 1 build to do quite well with it.

• I've never been in a serious PvP guild before, though I'd very much like to be in one.  I've always taken gaming seriously, but have never tried to "take it to the next level".  But I'm a tenacoius bastard with a good attitude;  I don't let a few losses take the wind out of my sails, and I very much enjoy matching wits with people in PvP.

•  I have a headset & teamspeak set up, but I'd prefer a guild with ventrilo, though it's not extremely             important to me.
