This game looks... FANTASTIC!

in Gods and Heroes: Rome Rising

Hey guys, first post here!.

I just found this game here yesturday, and i have really looked into all the movies and screenshots and all i can say is.. WOW!

This game really looks fantastic and so original!, It looks like its gonna have awsome feutures, a huge world, and who doesent love Italy?

I checked on the official forums, and the community really seems so nice and close connected, and i havent seen any 12 years old kiddies runnin around flaming ore anything, very mature.

I cant belive this game istent even in the top 7! , This looks so much better then all those games like LOTRO, Star Trek Online, Grenado Espana, Star Gate Worlds, Chronicles of spellborn and on and on...

Why is this game so underrated?, i cant get it. this is the turn points of all mmo's out there and i can wait.

    I totally agree with you, and yes this game is very underrated and even i havent found out why, Remember to hype us so we can get into the top 7 again!

    Couldn't agree more.  This game deserves a slot in top seven.  Some of the current games in the top 7 are old(relatively) and have had uninspiring updates for the past year.  This game cannot be released soon enough for me.

    I myself found out about this game very late. I was bored with WoW and looked AGAIN for a new game so I decided to look at every game in the "Games in Development" department, and I was amazed Ive never heard anything about this game before. I mean cmon its from Stieg Hedlund the maker of Diablo2 and so, it got awards at the E3 2006 for best graphics, best gameplay etc ...



    If iam telling my friends about this game, they also know nothing about this game, weird .....

    look at these screenshots, this game is looking so fantastic I cant describe xD so coloful but yet still realistic somehow.



    Yea not only the graphics but the unique squad comabt, ancient rome setting, you know every mmo coming out is with elves, orcs and so on ... nothing original.



    My bet is this game will be the next top MMO this year. I have alot of faith in this game and Stieg Hedlund.

    I hyped it to 10- This engine is beautiful. The physics are very well thought out. I hope it does well.

    hmm.. no SOE logo in that video ?

    *edit* hmm.. ok, scratch that. the last i looked at this game, it was listed with SOE's titles on their website. knowing there was some relationship between SOE & Perpetual, figuring it was going to be a hosting & whatnot deal with the devil themselves, such as other developers have done. now after seeing this video and doin' a more reading i've come to find SOE is acting purely as a box & media printer.



    so i'm game, i'll hype it.

    a little guild warsy, but i'm up for giving it a try.

    Hi and welcome to the Forums. I've been watching out for this game as well. I think next to Conan this game offers a totally different type of gaming style than more current MMO's out now.

    The fact that this game is flying a little under the Hype-radar will only give me more satisfaction and enjoyment on playing it in the future! It looks beautiful, I am glad these folks are also bringing us Star Trek Online. The MMORPG future looks bright.
