in Help Desk
Anyone getting problem that their rank is going down even though they've logged on daily? I've dropped down 6 points even though none of my post been deleted and i've logged on every day and suscribed to fourms to make sure they didn't.

I want to cast magic missle.

    I had the same thing happen, mine dropped 2 or 3 points from the other day. Didn't know if it was something or did or what.

    Well after the day i got accepted to wow beta and started posting about it and nothing got deleted. Somehow i lost 2 points??!?!?!?

    i suddenly just lost like 22 points, in 1 day (i log multiple times a day and havent had any post deleted or anything like that) i was at like 68 now im 45? in one day image

    Mine's dropped about ten points...although it seems it was uite slow in doing so.  It didn't start dropping as early as some of the others here.  No deleted posts, log on three or five times a day to check the boards...  image

    This is not a bug, it is intentional.

    To maintain your ranks you must not only login but also participate in postings. Rank judges how involved you are. Logging in and checking the board is not enough to maintain your rank. You must be active on the boards.

    But I do post everyday! Not just everyday-every hour! I spam everywhere! My extreme participation is not paying off!

    Well I am happy to say that I am not as bad as Murt because I have never posted a one word reply like "LOL" or "uhhhhh". By the way where is MBJ? I havnt seen him in a few days.

    How much information you have posted in our forums (not the amount of posts)
    The quality of your posts.  If you post lot of "filler" posts that only consist of a few words this will cost you rank points.

    I assume this is automated, meaning that "quality" is actually word-count. I find that annoying. You are punishing me for being concise and rewarding others for babbling on. . .

    Just my 2 banana skins. . .

    While there is something to say about being active I think I deserve at least a 2 star rating seeing as how I have posted almost 2000 different replies and I've been here longer than most of the staff and once was part of the staff here at mmorpg.com.
