How to Lose Rank
Is there anyway to lose rank besides offensive posts? I had my rank up to 5 awhile back but now it's down to 1 again. I don't even think I've ever posted on the boards, or made an offensive post or review. Could something else have happened?

Making little "filler" posts will lower your rank. Replying to a post just to say "LoL!" will reduce it. However, if your posts are informative and complete your rank will go up. Take a look at our FAQ for complete details.

Here is an excerpt from the FAQ on that question:
My rank went down. How is this possible?
Because our rankings are only based on the last 30 days of data, this is very possible. If the data inside the current 30 day window is not as good as the data in yesterdays 30 day window then your rank will go down.
In other words, even if you have a rank of 100 and don't visit the site for 30 days you will then have a rank of 0. We think this is a good indication of who is currently active.
