Cannot EVER Reuse Names

I recently deleted my character as I wanted to join a different clan, but as always, poo happens. Name couldn't be used right away, so I figure wait a day for the database to update. A whole day later, it still couldn't be reused. I go to the official forums only to find that the names are locked in FOREVER, whether active or deleted. This is a known issue ofcourse, but it's been that way for some time. So, now you know.

EDIT - Just remembered how I don't compromise. All or All.

    Not sure what the exact timeout is on it but yes you can reuse a name, I did. I suspect it's about a month, either that or sever cleanup.
