Can you please reply to what's written rather than your own paranoia?

Most of the interviews I've read mention adult content. If the company then allows a load of kids to sign up then they are pretty much asking to be sued in US courts - "This filthy game exposed my son to all sorts of violent and hateful imagery. It gives him nightmares at night and I've had to arrange for regular trips to a psychologist. He may never recover from exposure to such graphic violence at such a young age." Maybe the case will be complete rubbish, but acclaim will find it pretty hard to defend itself based upon the supposition "We designed a game for adults and then allowed a load of kids to play".

And any sort of self certifying or parental guidance email is a joke. The only proof of age that remotely works over the internet is a credit card. But 2 moons isn't asking for them.

There's really nothing in the game that a kid hasn't already seen or heard by the time they get out of elementary school.

As for your court comment, every time you log-in it has a "Recommended For 17 And Older" warning. I'm also guessing in the ToS they have the proper wording/details to avoid lawsuits if some stupid kid decides to do something and point the blame at the game. But like I said, the game will have nothing in it that a child won't be exposed to at some point by the time they're 14.

    to put it easy,

If a kid plays this game without knowing its "adult", then hes pretty darn stupid because its bieng screamed of the roofs it says with COW LETTERS that its 17+ on the page, you get that at the USER AGREEMENT to if you actualy read it, so Acclaim is safe from lawsuit because its your own damn fault if you go into it then.

and when the bussnis plan fails, who cares they tried right? maybe they will pick it up later with a better idea i dont really care if the plan fails i just wana play this game hehe:P

The reason why nothing has been "disproved" or "countered" is because there is nothing to disprove or counter. Your claims are based on superficial concerns on a product that has not gone past closed beta. (Please don't take this as a personal attack)

The in game advertisements have been said to be a constant work in process, they have an entire section devoted to hearing the communities opinions on what they might want to see or even if they would use optional advertisements.

    1) You do not know the age or income level of the community now, or during its release

    2) You have no true idea of the future (I sure as hell don't), and its always easy to be a doomsayer

    3) Item malls and/or advertisements have worked for several games

            - Check most Korean MMOs, almost all have item malls and are free to play otherwise

It is my assumption (again pure speculation) that advertisement is nothing more than a supplement to the item mall's income.

As for the age situation, lets assume they hired lawyers, and then lets assume they know the laws of many countries. Then lets assume they know ways to cover their own ass. It isn't that hard to do, and like you have said, can lead to serious trouble.

I agree with the age and maturity thing to be a bunch of marketing BS, however it really depends on how serious they are about keeping out the under-aged.

If this wasn't so worthwhile, most likely, they would realize it. People thought Guild Wars would be a big flop. If 2moon's gameplay doesn't suck why would this be any different? It's just a recycled version of Dekaron, which if you have had an opportunity to play is rather fun. However getting past the security to sign in as a non-Korean citizen is a real pain and not worth the hours of irritating searching.

Take a deep breath and relax. Regardless of what people want to believe in, its no sweat off of anyone's brow if this game fails horrible and irritates a lot of people. They will just latch on to the next trainwreck messiah of entertainment to come their way.

oh my GOD! Don't you get it, they do not check the age, it is advised for people over age 17. If you are a parent, would you allow your son to play this game or not is your concern. you have been warned though. that is the law policy.

I personally think this game looks mighty interesting, the game play looks promising, and while it's a recycled version of  Dekaron like someone had said before, they're also adding their own bits to the game in order to better serve and better please the player base.

I have friends that are younger than me that started playing grand theft auto when It first came out on the X-box, and im 14 now, its not a surprise that people who arent 17 get 2 play 2moons.

This issue isn't so much that younger children are playing the game, it's that younger children are playing the game without their parents consent and then once the parents find out the contents of the game that their child or children are being exposed to and then attempt to sue because they didn't pay better attention to what their child or children were playing

ok im in cb so i cant tell you any thing important besides this if your younger then 17 and lets just say your mom walked in and saw you playing this game your mom would put it this way ban you forever or most likely put a parental control on you pc its violent its bloody  thats all i can say with out getting in trouble wait i can say its really, really fun and they do listen to your complaints even David Perry answers post  so the developers do listen to you if they don't he will make them
