What do you think is the best final fantasy ever. I think FFVII is the best.

    If more of you were hardcore Old Skool gamers you would realize FF7 is awesome but FF3 is the best

    I havent played them all, not a big fan of FF really, but of those I did 9 was by far the best imo.  I really enjoyed that one for some reason.

    The only FF's that made an impact on me were FFVII, Final fantasy tactics and FFXI (you heard right!!).

    kinda disappointed tht u didnt add games such as FF IV, V and VI...

    i'd say IV or VI is the best FF game...  cant decide between those two

    IX. Not only was Zidane a pimp (Yes, he was a pimp.) but the bosses were so much cooler and I liked it a whole lot better than I thought it would be. Plus it had improved attacks and it was a relief after having to play the worst FF ever, 8. 9 was most definitly the best. Medieval settings and stuff were awesome too.image

    final fantasy tactics. but since that wasnt a choice i voted ff7. mind you ive only played 7/tactics and up, so i cant say that 1-6 were bad.

    I'm just assuming everyone who is voting for FFVII+ hasn't played any of the earlier versions.  My all time favorite was FFII (FFIV in Japan).  I think the FF series starting at 7 were medicore at best.  Sure they are great eye candy but the stories weren't all that great...especially FFX-2.  That game just blew.  FFII is all time the best.  The best story line and the best characters (i.e. Cecil and Golbez). FFIII with Kefka and Terra image

    Well, I personally like VIII the best - because it was the start of FMVs but all of them are great, in the categories of game play, music, graphics, etc =P

    Defintely FF3 on the SNES.  It was my first RPG and therefore holds a special place.  FF9 would definitely be a close second.

    In Final Fantasy III the only real pain maneuver would be with Cyan...

    hmm I didnt get all that SUPER stuff because I didnt have a clue on how to breed a gold chocobo image I heard you could only get things like mime and Knights of the Round with one of those image

    I very much liked my 4x cut though image

    There are two ways to get a Gold Chocobo.

    1) Breeding.
    2) Defeating Ruby Weapon.

    While option two is somewhat easier (well, less tedious anyways), the chocobo is horrible for chocobo racing. But if you just want to get the special stuff requiring a gold chocobo, you can. I've personally bred a gold chocobo that was so good I could boost through entire races without losing stamina. Then again, finding a chocobo with a "Wonderful" rating in the freezing north was annoying.

    i really liked final fantasy 7 just because of materia and chocobo breeding/racing. they could make a game just out of breeding em and id be hooked. id like more freedom with the materia though, more combinations to find. experiment with em.

    i liked final fantasy 7 but the final fantasys before it was confusing because the japanese had different numbers and stuff.
