Yes, mark my words, BOT is already affected 9 Dragons.
Last night, I took a video of players that look strange. See it for yourself.

http://www.filefactory.com/file/96178d/Just now, I logged in, and found almost all of those ppl still at the same place. Which is strange, they should lvl and go somewhere else already.
So, I checked them, by Whispering.
See thess pics.
This is an email I sent to acclaims
Yesterday I sent you a short ingame video of some players that act strange.
Here's its url.

http://www.filefactory.com/file/96178d/I logged in today, many hours passed, and many of these people still kept doing the same things, killing the same monsters, acting strange. They should have lvl a lot and move to new places already.
So, they must be bots, for sure.
I did run a test about these suspicious.
I whisper them ingame.
This is what I find out.

http://img64.imageshack.us/img64/23/2007february03115055lk7.jpgAs you can see, you can't whisper to any bot, you get a msg saying this person is not logged in, though they're standing in front of you.
It has nothing to do with "Refuse Whisper" in the Community Option, I tried.
I now request you to do something about this AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, which is NOW. I request a thread in the official forum about this bot and how to test it. I also request you ban their accounts, and their e-mail addresses. Of course, you need to check them out first that they are using bots.
If I don't get any reply soon, I will make what I found go public in 9D's official forum.
Thank you.
These are more pictures.

This is to be expected with any game that can be botted in. Gameguard only goes so far. Acclaim staff has said many times that if you provide evidence, as you have, to their support email, they will ban these ppl. I am not sure if they will go as far as banning IP's.
There have been many posts like this on the forums since the game went to open beta. None of this crap existed in closed beta I must say. One reason that you will see bots in the newb zones is because the gold drops at this level are nearly the same as higher level zones. items are different though.
I am hoping they just ban IP's if they see a trend.
Viper Skins, Big Pouch. And rare drops like BloodEssence and some Elixirs too.
Who freaking cares your suposud to play the game not chek if some one else is.There just killing monsters like very one else, only they are afk you just making a fuss out of nothing .your char can just grind on and lvl up or not?
i must say i dont like botters or hackes but if there not bothering you just let them be...-.-
This is the reason why botters exist, if players cared more about their game being ruined we wouldn't have this problem. Who cares? The playerbase, botting destroys game economies and provides an unfair advantage to the regular playerbase.
But they do effect you. Even if they don't directly effect you at that very moment you spot them, their action effects you later in life. Farm bots effect the economy by either saturating it with items or cash. Essentially both dilute the in game value of the money and items you possess as a character. Bottom line is that they reduce your purchasing power in the player economy. Experience grinding bots devalue your time to grind character levels. Bottom line is that they exploit the system in ways that 'honest' players will not and therefore result in an inbalance in player character levels.
So you may think they are not harming you directly, but in the end, mmorpgs are an economy which is easily manipulated by these people to 'honest' player's disadvantage. They can also create an inbalance in the levelling structure of the game. So they do effect you at some time or another and to differing degrees depending on how much you participate in the economy and the game.
It's a shame especially in this game since it's a F2P, so acclaim don't have any interests in letting this happening ; to compare with the NCSOFT case where the compagny earn money with the system of dual accounts : one for the main and one for the bot.
So i hope acclaim will do sthg with this trouble since i want to play this game in a close futur.
Thks to you to have warned us about this, you acted right !
It's just one step from the sublime to the ridiculous.
C9 impatient awaiter
bots spoiled the game..........on top of that cold server ingame comunity as well!!!!!
Unfortunately, I would expect that any game, or open beta, that allows for free play will always be subject to a few bots. I definitely think that they detract from 9Dragons' feel of anceint China, detract from the camraderie to be gained and of course, kill the economy and offer advantage to those who would manipulate the system. While I am thankful that Acclaim has a system in place to squash bots, I do not know how effective that system will be when the game is actually released. I am concerned that there will be an overwhelming number of these and Acclaim may turn to simply ignoring them. It would be far worse if they decided that the solution would be to make the game cost a lot to discourage botting. Of course, these show up in all games, including those that are pay-to-play, and are even more frutstrating there...
OK, so this doesn't seem like a good solution to the problem.
Has anyone heard of good solutions that work?
Its grindy as hell and theres plenty of server errors which is what I think is what was happening in the OP's pictures.
