I need help with my MMORPG game

in SPAM Forum

I need to know a good place to recruit new players for my browser based game.  Its been over a week and I don't have enough people to test the bandwidth or anything.

I need either:

A.  People that are willing to help me recruit people

B.  A couple of good suggestions where I can go to get players

C.  People that can SPAM the crap out of the link all over the place to get it started

You don't need to play it yourself if you don't want to... just help me get it started.

    But I quit playing them to make the game... Now I'm too broke to buy a new one and pay a monthly fee.  ::SIGH::

    Well if it a text MMORPG you might get further with places that have alot of MUDs  like www.topmudsites.com or www.mudconnect.com or www.mpogd.com.   Have you tried to list it with them?

    I made an account just to see what your game was about. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can only arena battle? You can't fight other monsters?

    Why don't you try to get people by posting in newgroups? That way you can reach a lot of people.

    I will try it out for you and see what what the game is about.  If i like it i'll promote it further.

    So far, that is why I want people to join.  There is a Suggestions thead in my forums... I'm willing to create anything that will futher the gaming experience.

    I haven't tried newsgroups.  Any help promoting is greatly appreciated!

    I joined to try the game and i've send the link to a couple of friends. Looks like a nice game to me. I don't like textbased games very much, but when the game i normaly play is offline, it's a nice substitute.

    What i don't really like about it is the fact i have to click on the page with the people who are around my lvl. Searching, searching, searching. That's one thing that bothers me.

    another good suggestion... insert a script to allow you to search all players by a level range... I'll put that on my list of stuff to do (since its still in beta my list is long and I won't be able to get to that right away... plus vacation) thanks for playing!!
