Looking for good game

OK so ive been playin everquest on n off for awile or watever n im tired of it. i wonderin wat peoeple think the  best  mmo game is. Im sorta younger than most people playin mmo' s so im lookin for somthin thats  not that expensive but good. whutchurs favorite?

    Its P2P but cheap and has a free trial period to let you give it ago before you part with the spondulies $$

    Depends on what your looking for? Do you have hours a day to play?  If so get Final Fantasy XI. Do just wanna log on and off whenever ya feel like it? and play for as little or as long as you want?  Then go with city of heroes. Those are my suggestions.  Games to steer clear from.....        Star Wars Galaxies and Lineage II.

    You would'nt know a good mmorpg subzero if it hit you square in the face!!!!!!! Star wars Galaxies is the best MMORPG I have ever played and it is the only one that has kept me around and interested for almost a year.

    Several existing games that are like EQ may strike your fancy.  I would suggest Dark Age of Camelot, as it seems to be the best "EQ Clone" out now, but like some have mentioned, the game is starting to age and the player population seems to be increasingly filled with bots.  I have a suspicion that DAoC will see a population drop later this year (much like EQ did in 2001 when DAoC was released) upon the release of EQ2 and others.

    Ragnarok Online is a nice game, but not nearly as deep as EQ.  It's also rather expensive, but it is a lot of fun. 

    Anarchy Online is a Sci Fi themed MMOG that has a loyal group of followers.  Players love this game and it is a lot of fun.

    If you can wait until mid year, EQ2 should be out.  This one will be big.

    I play in eve now and waiting for either everquest 2 or dark and light:) This two have possibilities to rule the world... if makers dont screw up something...

    The only way to really find out is to pick up copies of the gmaes themselves and give them a go.

    fwiw, AO and DAoC of the recent crop were the only ones that didnt leave a sour taste in my mouth. I left them for "the next big thing" much to my regret. I have SWG a long time. But finally I had to admit defeat. FFXI was simply disapointing, perhaps beacause i didnt have enough time.

    Perhaps I have become the quick save, quick levelling noticible progress junkie that i despised in my youth. Perhaps it is time i went back to basics and play my mud again.
