needs allot of work, looping sounds in rts mode, web browser crashes allot, has huge potential, hard learning curve, it needs more streamlining, sorry to say it looked like a bunch of kids coded this.. now that's not all bad but you will get what I mean if you tryed it. Again thou HUGE potential , but with games such as Supreme Commander coming out this is going to have a hard time competing and supreme commander is a blast.

I had some random error when I first tried to fire up the game client, looked over thier forum and found out I just needed the newest driect x patch and then it ran fine.  Its a fun game, but I am distracted from testing it too much atm with the recent release of GW Nightfalls.

I played the beta. Had no trouble running it, but I uninstalled after a few hours anyway. Needs alot of work game wise, but more importantly it is a security risk. All browser games are. So either you run the risk of being open to viruses, or keyloggers/hacks/etc. to steal your account/ destroy your achievements/ etc.. I don't recommend it for that reason. Over 2/3 of the game is browser based. I would think developers would learn their is a reason browser games suck. And yet they made the biggest part of their game exactly that. the client is only used to fight and compete quest. The main strategy, equipment, money, etc. are all browser based. Sorry, I don't see this game going very far. Especially after the first round of hacks/keyloggers/viruses hit, which they inevitably will.

I played the beta for about an hour and lost complete interest. The game has no polish; it feels completely cold. The game is almost entirely web-based, which makes it slow and unpleasant to play. The forums seem to have moderatos/developpers who can't write english properly, which convains complete and utter unprofessionality, giving me zero confidence in them. I'm a bit annoyed I wasted my time getting to 'play' this for free, forget about ever paying some kind of subscription fee.

Thumbs down for sure on this game, I would suggest not even bothering with the beta.

When you go to file planet you have to scroll down a bit to see the free download option. That said, I installed it, played it, and then removed it. It's poor at best. It's a bit (a very little bit) like a Web based Civ screen where you manage your city then you jump into the PC portion of the game to play the encounters. The most common error when starting had to do with the Direct X version you have (have to have 9.0c or better, I believe) and there are links to the location on the Microsoft site on the Dreamlords forums.

For sounds, graphics, overall game play (and yes it's Beta I understand it's still 'rough') I give it .05 - 1.0 stars out of 5.

I've been in the beta for about a week.  I'm trying to give it a
shot but having in browser and a client is kinda irritating.  I'd
rather have it all in client and not have to worry about logging off to
go manage in the browser.  If they're going to keep it one way or
the other, great... but the way it is makes the game flow terrible.

No offence, but the game could be the best mmorpg even if the moderators/devs did not write english fitting into your perfect world. I have seen mod/devs refraining from giving good costumer support just becuase they wanted to act "professionaly", atleast they thought they did by just replying to the mass, and not to a single customer.

Otherwise I want to say I have not tested this game yet, and probably will not since from what I have read this game seem to lack alot of security etc.
