    Ragnarok is offering a free CD, there is a small info page      and it took me like a week to get it. Then 2 weeks free.

     

    Pristontale is SWAMPED with players and lagged savagely. Getting in is a real trial, I say the game rocks totally but then again I started 2 years ago and have higher lvl characters...and I dont play any more cause of the lag and cheats being used.

     

    Er, international Ragnarok has some of the same trouble but is far more playable AT THIS TIME>  ^^

    LoL, I went to that site, and I looked around. Up over the login says 4 Users Online. Wow, not really wanting to play that game. But thats just me.

    Mr.Ritz no matter how many players is online coz your char can fight even when u r offline.You make your char put points on stats and skills and combat is based on D&D rules i guess so anybody who is online can attack ur char and when u login u find log about this and info if u won or lost.Try it its quite fun u just need 2 times per day to log to fully use ur battle choices.

    im gonna have to recommend Eternal lands and Conquer online

    Eternal lands has the greatest devs in the world as they play the game with you and get this will actually talk to you. theres lots of skills in the game and more coming from the devs.

    i just started conquer online but i think its got great potential and its not bad graphic wise. pking is annoying but its really not a big deal

    I tried to play EL a few months ago and there was some sort of bug somewhere along the line (Probably in XP again...), but Im gonna try again now (20% done image). It looked really good from my angle, perhapse not a great grafics as RS, but a good solid free MMO otherwise.

    63 str, 63 atk, 63 def, 63 hits, Combat 77, 940 skill total.

    You can add SecondLife (www.secondlife.com) to this list now. It has no monthly fee and costs 10$ for a lifetime membership. Those 10$ you can currently get back though since Linden gives you 500 of in game currency and the person who refered you gets another 2000, which together you can sell at GOM for 10$.

    If you wonder: the service is currently mostly financed by people who like to play big landlord and rent huge amounts of land (= server space) from Linden Labs.

    If you sign up to SecondLife entering "Anshe Chung" as referal adds you to my in game friendslist :-)

    secondlife looks like a great casual game but if you have to pay 10$ than its not free even tho thats a great deal

    SecondLife is practically free because you can currently get those 10$ back via GOM by selling in game currency the game company gives to you and to the person who refered you. But nominally it is not free.

    Hmm... Legend of Mir maybe?

    Well, that's MY best MMORPG. Nothing beats it, nothing will ever beat it. And no, not even WOW and EQ II.

    Gravity has been shutting down many private servers since february and has threatened to sue/arrest private server owners. Remember Private servers run off content from Ragnarok Online which makes them illegal and gives gravity the right to take action against it. Many of the major private servers have been shutdown and gravity have been known to use the owners in a kind of community service for thier company, such as Prject Yare is currently using its bandwidth to host euRO, the european official server.

    If you want a free ragnarok online game look to the many open betas that are spawning as Gravity is expanding thier operations.
