First off, if you want an invite to the game, there's already a thread (stickied in the forums but not obvious from the main page on this site)

don't flood the forums with new threads for your own personal invite. This isn't 2moons.
I already put my email on the thread last night and woke up with an invitation waiting for me; and as soon as my friends accept their invites, I'll pay it forward ON THAT THREAD. Anyone who asks for invites on this one A) Can't read and
Won't get it from me.
Anyways......
I just wanted to state real quick a disclaimer for this game.
Do not play it if you're wanting something like WoW, Lineage 2 or EQ2. It's not even on the same lines as Silk Road, Rappelz or any other F2P (and that is a good thing.)
This is, essentially, a game like Diablo. On steroids. Yes, it's mindless hack'n'slash. Before people scream bloody murder and OMG ANOTHER GRIND, it's different. It's a fun game; tons of dungeons, tons of drops. Great combat controls. Tons of critters. All of the drops have VERY funny names.
This is a very cynical and hillarious farce of gaming. The NPC's mock the RPG stereotypes. This is in the form of such great voice overs like "Ya know those other towns where they dress all like the renaissance? Yeah, they suck." That came from A MERCHANT.
This game doesn't take itself seriously. In a GOOD way.
And the game play is addicting to all hell.
This is a fun game, with a good community. It's free for the basic game, the premium stuff is only five bucks a month.
There's some features TO BE RELEASED. Be patient.
But as of now...it's not for farmers, it's not for PvP junkies (though that'll soon change) and it's definitely not for people who want to "Pwn" other players. It offers a cool group dynamic; but it's classes are designed for solo as well as grouping (and soon they're doing away with classes so people can do their own builds).
And no, it's not in Beta anymore.
That being all said....anyone who seriously just want a FUN game to slash their way through....post in the official thread, and if I don't add ya I know others will. And when accepted, sign up for their forums and give it a good read. You'll see where the Developers are trying to go with it.

it is free to play.
how ever the pay to play is only 5USD per month...which is really cheap. [REALLY cheap]
If you do pay to play you get to be able to buy more potent health potions, and things. Which are actually REALLY useful.
The pleb. potion heals over a period of 40 second, the exclusive to payer potions, heal over 5 seconds. Some ITEMS [swords etc] are also for subscribers only.
p.s. To the original poster...nice review, very sensible, and I agree totally. I enjoy the fact that the game is casual.

Are there already subscription only items and if there are , is there a big difference between them ?
