Bashing of Simutronics employees exposed

In the forum discussion about the last announcement about HJ from GDC, me and a guy got into a discussion about whether or not HJ would be vaporware.  It progressed to him naming some of the higher-ups in the company being direct problems with HJ's release, then ended up with 4 Simutronics/Ex-Simutronics employess totally debunking the guys argument from their perspective as employees.  I thought it was an interesting read.

It was indeed interesting, thanks ShadowZERO!

I could only hope Simu-people could make these public appearance more often (relevant to HJ) and not only when someone points at them with a smelly stick.

The only thing I can say is you have to be patient with Simu.  They're both tight-lipped and perfectionists.  You won't see any AO/Vanguard-esque paid beta with simutronics.  Once they release, you can bet the game will be relatively bug free and will have the promised deliverables.  Atleast that was their track record in nearly 10 years I played GSII/III/IV

I hate when stuff goes personal like that.

For what it's worth, I met a majority of the people spoken about there, and they're all great folks.  Eric, Steph, David are all good people with a lot of energy about what they do.  Otherwise, I wouldn't work for them... for free ;)

I did not get to meet Melissa in person, unfortunately.  She hired me, and I spoke with her on the phone a few times, but that's it.  She was pleasant to work with though, like everyone else at Simutronics.

I guess I read that exchange differently. I saw disagreement, true. I saw some suspect facts relied upon by both sides of the argument.  But I didn't see any debunking. The guy's point is still, I believe, valid.

You say you met Melissa, but you did not say if you asked her out for a date.  Would you ask her out for a date?  She's a pretty hot babe.

to the OP. Very interesting read even more so the fact that Ex employees to some extent sticking for their old colleagues . A nice insight I may start following the HJ story again now that some movement can be seen and hopefully we may see the HJ MMO on the table within the next year or so...
