A few weeks ago I went out after work for some drinks and a bit of alone time out of the house I had 5 drinks and was over the drink drive limit so I went to get a taxi home and left my car in the works car park I got something to eat in the taxi cab office (they serve kebabs too for the "drunks") I put my mobile (cell) phone on the counter while I got my cash out to pay and the guys stole my phone so I left the place and went to the local police station and told them what happened.
at the police station I told the officer what happened and he said there is nothing they can do I asked why and he said they don’t investigate "small" crimes like some one steeling a mobile if it were not violent then they would look into it I told the officer the phone would still be in the building and he looked at me as if to say just piss off so I sat in the lobby and told him I'm not going anywhere untill I see your going to investigate the crime committed against me I sat there for 40 mins when another officer came and arrested me they kept me in the cells over night and tried to give me an on the spot fixed penalty fine of £80 or go to court I choose to go to court (at the time I was going to fight it)
In court I was forced to fill out a statement of means form (that’s all my income etc form) and told to just plead guilty as I would never win the case.
This has given me a total lack of confidence in the justice system in the UK and I'm going to find a quite safe country to live in and move there A.S.A.P

The really funny thing is that both my sister and my brother-in-law are in the military. My brother-in-law has been to Iraq 3 times. They are both furious because the last 3 or 4 times they have flown they have been held up at the airport for at least an hour. Once they missed their flight and had to be put on a later one.
My brother-in-law has been trying to get my nephew off the list through his command for months but has been unsuccessful. They are both furious. The really funny thing is that both my sister and my brother-in-law are in the military. My brother-in-law has been to Iraq 3 times. They are both furious because the last 3 or 4 times they have flown they have been held up at the airport for at least an hour. Once they missed their flight and had to be put on a later one.

Actually, I seldom watch TV at all, shows like CSI are so full of crap. However, if you want to think that Federal intelligence gathering and law enforcement are that astute, go right ahead. It keeps the masses paranoid and in line.

As long as the U.S. Constitution stays alive and is followed. The goverment cant realy take over anyone. and no one else is going to win and take over the us with money ( though, they might get some things). i dont think that the government is going to get worse, it will overally get better, ( though, it might be in a different way then you might think of today. )
