I'll get my story out and you'll see exactly why I need help here.
Thursday, March 22nd I got in on MMORPG.com's key giveaway for Dungeon Runners. I've been looking forward to this game for a while, and I got a good three days in regularly playing on World 4 as Lindstodt. I was a bit annoyed that my forum account refused to work properly though.
I created a new plaync account under the username norsesand, and created a forum board account with my regular name coarsesand (forum account's are supposedly supposed to be different names?). Anyways, the only thing that gets me even remotely close to being on the forums is logging in as norsesand, which takes me to an empty profile page and immediately declares at the top that I have not, in fact, logged in, and cannot go any futher than looking at my blank profile page. I wasn't really concerned, but I contacted web@ncaustin.com for support with the issue, and I have yet to get a response from them.
Either way, I got to play Dungeon Runners, and absolutely loved it. I got in three good days with it and got Lindstodt to level 23ish. Then I logged on one night and got the message that patch 0.51 was about to be applied, so i should probably log out and wait for the servers to reboot. Great, I thought, cause the crystal armor art was going to be added. Nope. I logged out, checked back three hours later, and the PlayNC Launcher refuses to download the 0.51 patch. It begins trickle downloading, then displays the messages "No Text Set" then "Error during last operation" and sends me an error window with the following text:
"The server did not return the file size. The URL might point to dynamic content. The Content-Length header is not available in the server's HTTP reply."
I've been struggling with this issue since 0.51 came out, and sent a message to PlayNC support, though I'm not expecting much help from them (I used to play Guild Wars and my experience with them wasn't very helpful). I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game twice, and that hasn't corrected the error, but since I don't have any access to the official Dungeon Runners boards I can't go there for proper help. Basically I'm screwed beyond belief here, and that really sucks because Dungeon Runners was a lot of fun. Any help with this, even getting me onto the official board, would be incredibly appreciated.
