Wow, the UI looks better than i expected. Especially for being so light in comparison to other MMOs and their bulky interfaces. The only thing i don't especially enjoy are the bars to the upper left. Eww! Too bland lol.

Ever since Pirates of the Caribean came out (more likly 2 then 1) theres been a huge buzz of a good pirates game and i think this mite fulfill the need
Movement is W and S to raise and lower sails, and A and D to control the rudder. You can also click on the compass to set a heading if you prefer. It's actually a bit more complicated than that, as movement is influenced strongly by turn drag, wind, and the ship's sail configuration, but those are the basics.
It's funny that people say the UI is 'clean' and/or 'simple', because one of the biggest complaints in our usability testing is that the UI is too complicated and crowded. Keep in mind that the screenshot you're looking at was taken by our art director on a massive widescreen monitor with the resolution cranked way up.

Crowded can be a bother but please o please never think the word "Complicated" is a bad thing. For an uncomplicated feel I can go buy an Xbox or something.
I think Character discovery and awakening of sorts by learning how to use your skills well can be just as important as discovering the world your in.
I am really concerned to see all these WoW kiddies likeing this game so much I do not want to see tha ttype of community in this game a bunch of pimple faced red headed 15 year old step childs with a attention span of a nat.

Since the gameplay is based on skill instead of someones enchants with +150000 health to chest gear and +1000 agility to sword and other nonsense I doubt if WoW fanboys will want to play this thank goodness. Players will have to master ship and avatar combat without the use of their 1 button macro spamming. And there is no cannon gun of a thousand truths or the super uber cannon ball garbage so this will anger the WoW boys a lot and maybe they will stay away because I doubt they survive very long in PvP if they have to rely on attention span and tactical thinking. Want be any "phat loot" crap here WoW boys, so stay where you at!!

They have a lot of screen shots and videos from the game linked in the threads.
The rest seems fine.
