Second part to - the other poll... Destruction. The poll for Order is in this post.
So which Destruction class are you looking forward to making when you first log in to WAR?
Comments
Well, since I have a tattoo of the symbol of Tzeentch on me left arm, I guess it's a no brainer.
Can't really decide. Either it's goblins Swuig Herder which feels really attracting and looks to be really entertaining. But on the other hand I want to be some cool dark elf, so I can't really decide. It will depend; if many choose dark elf I'll go for squig herder, if many choose greenskins I'll go for Dark Elf. Anything that isn't overpopulated.

Which FF Character Are You?
Oh I don't know, they're doing quite well now by the looks of things. That Chaos Magus is certainly getting some loving here on the forums though - and I must admit, it looks like a really cool class to play. So little forum love for the goblin shaman though - that's a surprise.
You Sir, was born to play this game. I wonder if you remember the old TT game well? - That fallen giant template you got with the Warhammer Fantasy Battle boxed set - one of my friends wanted to get that as a tattoo. It would have been very, very silly.
Tzeentch symbol is much cooler.
This is not World of Warcraft. "tank" and "dps"(you mean light tank ill help you out) arent the same thing. Mythic belives the same people who take damage shouldnt be the same people who deal damage. The more dmaage you deal the squishier you are.
So you need about 2 more brackets for the elves.
Anyway. I did not like playing my shaman at all. Cute but not very effective for my playstyle. I like the zelot because I would rather do passive offense (debuff your opponent) while I heal than to do direct damage. Theres always damage dealers, theres never enough healing and debuffs.

I meant melee tank or melee dps... Melee tank/dps using the / as an "or" marker, which is common usage for the oblique slash. I didn't mean a single class, nor did I make any connection or comment towards WoW - so I'm not sure where you got that from? I thought my definition was pretty clear, especially with the second dark elf option.
Sorry for any confusion.
Or are some classes M/F specific?
I like the armor from the concept art of chosen but it looks to beefy, though its still my #1 choice from just looking at the pics of other classes.
Oh, and I wont even bother with Order ...

MMO wish list:
-Changeable worlds
-Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads
My first destruction alt will be a dark lf of some sort - I played DE in the TT for a long time
Orc Choppa for me!
WAAAAAAAAGH!
I think the Chaos Chosen is looking like a tastey class to persue.
"If you build a man a fire, you'll keep him warm for a day. If you light a man on fire, you'll keep him warm for the rest of his life."
Squig herder!
I'm the pet/tinker kinda player.
As there's no real engineering class (The dwarven being a friggin' support without any tinkering involved) I go for the guys with the most pets.
Played so far: 9Dragons, AO, AC, AC2, CoX, DAoC, DF, DnL, DR, DDO, Ent, EvE, EQ, EQ2, FoMK, FFO, Fury, GW, HG:L, HZ, L1, L2, M59, MU, NC1, NC2, PS, PT, R:O, RF:O, RYL, Ryzom, SL, SB, SW:G, TR, TCoS, MX:O, UO, VG, WAR, WoW...
It all sucked.
Yes, I like zelot better than shaman. Shaman did not suit my playstyle as a healer. I do feel its a tricky class to play and a very indirect amount of support/damage/healing but im a healer not a doter. it would make a great 2ndary healer in a full group however, in my opinion.
So far the two heavy tanks seem to be the true powerhouses, I know in most games the take damage type tanks dont do well, but these two take the cake. Especially the Ironbreaker, who gets obscenely powerful as the fights go on and you off people he is grouped with. The black orc was also very devilish because of the amount of damage he could take and the combos he can pull off. For instnce, I fought 2 people at the same time. I was able to stop casting from the runepriest by performing knockdowns. While knocked down you can stomp people for extra damage and effects. When I was low on life I had enough "power" known as WAAAGGH! to use a special ability to heal myself up to 70%. It had a funny name too like "it not hurt much" or something. I then was able to keep them both offballance with various debuffs blocks and combo attacks and finished off the runepriest before I could be killed by the hammerer. After I delivered the killingblow, I was able to throw my shield at the hammerer and snare him, then I ran away and when I got enough action points I hit sprint, so me sprinting with him snared made for a good get away. As I got far enough away I used a skilled called "katch me breff" which the toon stooped over and couldnt move or act but regened actionpoints and health at a rapid rate. I was able to regen to 60% hp and full action points by the time the hammerer got to be and took him down easily. The light tanks really didnt do very well against the defensive tanks. Played correctly the defensive tanks can just prevent (as with the Black orc) or stop (as with ironbreaker) so much phisical damage but the longer the fight went on the stronger they got (more so with the ironbreaker)
I have not played cross realm fights yet but I dont think there is a client up running that yet. I would expect that to come out AFTER they show the final "high elves vs dark elves" war sometime early summer.
Yes I have played hours and hours of the game in beta phase.
No I do not work for mythic, I work for MMORPG.COM
