It looks ok from what I've seen so far, but it doesn't offer too much compared to the older MMORPGs. Hopefully they'll implement some of the more advanced stuff and fix the bugs up while the game is still in beta.

I like it too, but none of the bonuses except the +health ones work. The +streangth, +dextarity, etc arn't workin for me...

This game is SO laggy it really isn't funny. If the developers of this game don't fix this stability problem it will go down faster then a Zepplin.

When this game does work, however, it isn't terrible. I certainly wouldn't pay money for it, but it passes the time.

I enjoyed the closed beta for about a month, but after I reached the top level during closed, it got very boring and repetitive. I agree with it not being worthy to buy, but it is good for passing time

i havent played daoc, but Ko is good for me, i play it, i have friend , clan and so on. Nothing to add.

Hello All,

Well I decided to download the DAoC free trial last night Got all registered and all I can say is "wow"...I guess I'm missing something. I have never tried a game that had a harder UI...I mean what's up with the keyboard controls? I tried re-mapping but there were so many functions that I would of had to re-key almost every key and "try" to remember the layout. I don't know who decided they knew what the FPS key setup was .....because it was not the normal W,S,A,D that I've found to be common. And with all the UI screens up, you really don't have a very big view. Felt crowded to me. And I hated having to hit the (M) button to be able to use my mouse to look around, and then have to hit it again to actually move???

Perhaps there are adjustments to ALL of my issues, I'm not sure. But 1st impressions being what they are...it just felt like more trouble and time to have to CHANGE the game to such a degree to my liking.

And the graphics???? I know the game is 3 years old but man...all I can say is we've come a long way in 3 years lol.

I'm sure there is TON's about this game that I'm not aware of...and a lot of "content" and things to do. But this game is not for me. I salute all who like it and have excelled in the game though and I'm glad it worked for you!

But I've had a lot more FUN getting to lvl 10 (last night as well) playing KO

But that's just me and my playing style I guess. And I have to agree with those who think KO's graphics are better...I like them more as well.
