I was one of the lucky players who got to beta test this game from day 1 and back then around 3-4 of us hit levels 38-41 ( i was the low guy at 38) and before we could hit the cap, they whiped the server. After the whipe we repeated our progress and got to 40 and they had us capped there at 40, and at that time there was no screenshot function. Again, when they added dual wielding for my loremaster, there was no screenshot function.
The open beta is capped at 15 so if there are any "high level pics" they are either shots Turbine gave us or photoshopped images.
To take picture in LOTRO (or any other game) just click prtscreen and copy it to paint, then save the picture. You don't need any special function for that.

You could take screenshots in Beta. I took screenshots throughout Beta 1 and 2 for bug reports. That being said, I'm sure some people got screenies of their high-level characters. Not me though.

Yup, I always lost my character before I made it to high level. Screenshot function worked for me though in european beta.

No screenshot function? Is that true?
Print screen takes a screenshot and place in your documentfolder on your desktop but also places it in the memory so you can paste it into a paintprogram if you like that.
There has been a screenshot button atleast the 4 months i tested it.
