I don't have akey, because I have yet to buy the game; I am not sure that I will.
That said, if you have played WoW or EQII, the controls are very similar. The engine is the exact same one as DDO, and has all of the same problems that come with it. Some of the systems are very nice, however. The combat has many skills that work very well together, and using them skillfully and in tandem has significant benefits. There is a title system that is very cool, but I won't explain; if you care, just look up all their features on their website.
Their crafting system is very well thought out, and logical, and seems to be very good for the economy, but because of hte level cap during beta, we can't really know that yet.
The quests follow lore in a good way, and nothing contradicts the books. Players get to be powerful, but not as powerful as the heroes. It's done very tastefully.
If you like Tolkien, and the control system of WoW, but want to see a very few innovative things, I would go for it. I am undecided, because I hate that engine so very, very much.
"There are two great powers, and they've been fighting since time began. Every advance in human life, every scrap of knowledge and wisdom and decency we have has been torn by one side from the teeth of the other. Every little increase in human freedom has been fought over ferociously between those who want us to know more and be wiser and stronger, and those who want us to obey and be humble and submit."
John Parry, to his son Will; "The Subtle Knife," by Phillip Pullman
I'd really like a buddy key, I just got a new computer that can handle it I was in the beta very briefly and I just checked out that my account is vaild be deactivated. So all I need is a buddy key and I can start playing.
Don't get me wrong on this - I'm not pointing fingers or accusing anyone of anything wrong. However there is a thread at Codemasters theorising that *some* buddy key requests *may* be being made by gold farmers.
But...can you continue to subscribe with your buddy key? Kinda like in WoW? Trial over, upgrade it online, without having to go to the store and get the box...
I think I will give my buddy key to a friends kids. They were able to get in for Beta1 and were a lot of fun to play with. I know their Dad won't let them subscribe but I know they love the books and enjoyed the game.
Really would like to try this game before I buy it. I played bought vanguard and now I am disappointed with that and would like to give this a try. SO if anyone has an extra key please send it to me here or at da_bears1359@yahoo.com Thanks
If anyone happens to have a buddy key, I am needing one as well. However, it seems that there are many more people needing them than giving them . Anyways, my email is Malak587@gmail.com.

Why didn't you play in the open beta?
